Chapter thirty

I kept running through the hallway away from Albin's room till I hit someone and fell with my butt on the ground.

"Ouch!" I groaned in annoyance.

"You okay," I heard a deep manly voice.

Lifting my head, I watched the unfamiliar face stretch out his hands for me.

"Who are you?" That was the first question that left my lips.

He smiled and straightened himself and retrieved back his stretched hand after noticing that I am not ready to take it.

He is not that young, I could place him around fifty or sixty though he looked strong and well-built.

"I came for a visit," he replied.

"Okay," I said before placing my hand on the ground to stand up before I felt him stifled beside me.

His sudden action drew my attention and deepened my curiosity. I turned around and noticed his gaze set on my collarbone.

I followed the direction of his gaze and it stopped at the birthmark below my collarbone.

"Thanks, Albin for tearing my clothes now the mark is exposed," I grit my teeth together in anger.
