Chapter Thirty-two

"Allen," I called in a cracking tone.

He gave me the smile that always makes time to stop in the collision of senses around me. I returned the smile.

I watched him walk up to me and trace his hands on my cheeks and I swear I felt an electric sparkle.

I know he feels the same with the way his eyes kept staring into mine, studying me.

But this is strange because Albin and I haven't broken the bond.

I am still mated to Albin.

I wasn't supposed to feel attracted to another unmated male wolf but to my mate but the more confusing part is that I felt nothing for Albin except hatred and resentment.

Recalling the image of Albin had my throat taste bitter, I shook my head and shoved the image of him at the back of my head before focusing on the greek god in front of me.

"What's wrong, why are you shaking your head?" He asked when still tracing his fingers around my cheeks.

"Nothing…" I denied it with a forced smile.
