Asher had worked for Robert long enough to know him well. He knew Robert hadn't stopped worrying about whether Angeline could hold the fort down at the Lawson family once he was gone.

It wasn't because Robert doubted Angeline's abilities. It was because the Lawson family had announced to the world that Angeline was an adoptive granddaughter to protect Jessica.

The worst part was that Angeline hadn't been raised by the Lawsons as Sean had been. She had only become a member of the Lawson family after she was fully grown.
