"I've signed them, and you should, too. Let's start notifying the public. Getting married within a month will be rather rushed, so let's get engaged within a month instead and have the wedding within six months. What do you think?"

"Have you gotten a lawyer to look over the contract? I'm surprised that you signed it and sent it over here so quickly."

"How could I let a lawyer look at it? Look at those clauses you added at the end. 'We're just husband and wife by name and won't consummate the marriage'… etc. You even added that if either of us requests a divorce, then it must be done with no questions asked, and there is to be no division of assets. If Hooper Group's legal department saw this, my grandfather would be sure to find out, and he'd beat me to death! He'll think I'm forcing you to sign it so I don't have to take responsibility!
