Chapter 12

Kelsey froze.

In her last life, she had indeed forced Tyler’s hand into making a choice between her life and breaking off the engagement.

Kelsey knew better than to walk down the same path again.

“I have made things clear with you at the hotel. I will marry you if you propose.”

Kelsey lifted her chin, her eyes determined. “I won’t call it quits with you.”

Tyler’s eyes flickered menacingly. “Are you trying to lie to me again?”

His hold on her tightened unknowingly.

Kelsey refuted in pain, “I’m not lying!”

Tyler narrowed his eyes dangerously at her.

“Get out!” He barked while releasing his grip.

Kelsey shook her head. “No!”

It took a lot just to get into his car. She could not possibly leave until the misunderstanding was resolved.

Tyler grimaced. “I’ll say that again. Get out!”

Kelsey’s gaze met his as she insisted, “No. I’m going where you’re going.”

While talking, she clung to his waist.
