MEGAN’S POV

I was angry for a long time for what my parents did to me but now that I got everything, I wanted from them. I feel sorry for them. I realised that they are only two greedy people who wanted a life they were not destined for, and they took matters into their own hands and changed their destiny.

However, that destiny did not come easy, it came at a cost. A very high cost, me, they lost me for years. I thought they didn’t care that I was gone, I still think my father doesn’t care that I was gone but my mother does.

She grieved my loss, threatened to expose my father if he did not go out there and find me when Kane took Alex and me.

I can see she is trying but for the life of me, I can’t forgive her for replacing me. if she had another child then I would have understood but she didn’t.

She chose to replace me with the real alpha’s daughter, Sara. I don’t know if it was guilt for what they did to her parents that made them take her in.
