Rebecca came out of the building with her CV file in her hand. But to her surprise, her blue Porsche had become red now.

“W-What the…” she touched it and understood that it was freshly painted. She looked around to see if anyone was around, and then eventually saw Benjamin on the balcony. “Did you do this?”

“Yeah. Last night,” Benjamin said. “You said you liked the red color, so…”

Rebecca didn’t know what to say. The red colored car looked much better in her eyes, but still, she wished he could have just asked her first before painting it. Then again, it looked like it was painted by a professional. So, she had nothing else to complain about. Nevertheless, she didn’t thank Benjamin and just entered the car and left.

Rye approached Benjamin from behind. “It turned out to be a wasted effort. Did you really think that painting the car will bring her memories back? That’s not how it works.”

“If you are so certain that her memories won’t return, then why are you telling
