"Why, Princess? Are you scared of me?" Talon asked me, his eyes peering into mine and not flickering away for a minute.

"No I'm not. I just think it's inappropriate for me to strip in front of you like that. It is not like I am your girl or something. It doesn't make sense," I told him.

"Then be my girl then. Be my girl so that you won't have any excuse to give me when I request for a thing like this."

I couldn't believe Talon right now. The way he was interpreting the situation wasn't the way I intended it to be. Who told him that I was trying to become his girl? I was only making a valid point. I wanted to tell him that it is only those that had a thing going on between them that could do such sensual things and there he was saying things that didn't just seem to make sense.

Besides, I was just meeting him for the first time. I didn't know who he was and we haven't even started with each other for a full day, so how come he was asking me to be his girl just because he was looking f

As soon as I opened the door, my eyes were greeted with the most surprising sight -- 2 ladies whose breasts were bare were in the room with Talon performing what I suppose to be a massage. Talon sat at the edge of his bed with his eyes closed and his head lifted upwards as if he was enjoying the treatment given to him and the first girl knelt behind him and massaged his shoulders. As for the other one, she crouched on the ground and massaged his feet gently with oil.Where the hell did they come from in just a short period of time? Even though I was getting used to Talon being full of surprises, I never expected to see something like that. But why were the ladies breasts bare and why did Talon still have his towel on? I thought he had already dressed up.Maybe I spent a long time in the bathroom for him to bundle those women into his room but I wasn't in any way impressed by it. The ladies in question didn't seem to care the least, our eyes only met once and that was it -- they conti

I felt my heart pound in my chest as I heard from Talon that the Pack was waiting for me. That could only mean that they were back from the festival. So many questions swarmed my mind. Questions that I couldn't find the answers to unless I went down to see for myself; like what were each and everyone of them like. Were they friendly? Or were they just a bunch of mean people? It wasn't like I was afraid of them but I just thought it would be profitable to me to know what their behaviors were like in order to help know how to behave in their presence.I didn't want to rush anything at all, So I took my time and put on my dress. The beautiful white dress that was given to me. I turned around and looked for a mirror and I found one just behind me. It was situated opposite Talon's bed and for a brief moment I wondered why he chose to position his mirror there. He sure wasn't over his handsome self I guess.I stared at the mirror before me and I was greeted with my own reflection. Again, I

TANIA:For a short while, everyone took their attention away from me and concentrated on their meals and discussions. I had already been served my meal and I was so grateful to have it. I didn't notice how hungry I was until I saw them eating happily on the table."Is there anything you need, Tania? Like water or more wine or food..." Talon crooned and I shook my head. I was perfectly fine with everything that was set out before me. "Are you sure?" He asked again, his eyes shifting to my almost empty plate that was on the table. From all indications, it was obvious that I was hungry and I didn't know if I was too apparent about it. Nobody seemed to care as they were still engulfed in their discussion. "I'm fine, Talon. I don't need anything. Thank you," I said to Talon. From where I sat I could feel the eyes of Riya piercing at me and I didn't seem to care. I wasn't doing anything wrong and neither was Talon. Even if she was Talon's woman, was she trying to tell me that it was wrong f

TANIA:Silence swept across the entire room for a brief moment and I could clearly see the shock on Riya's face. I was even surprised to hear Talon say that on my behalf. He had been silent throughout the time that Riya was bombarding me with questions and just when I thought that I was going to be stuck with her, he came like a volcano and silenced her."Let me be the one to make decisions about where she is going to stay and what she is going to do. Besides, you have no idea how long she is going to stay," Talon said, referring to Riya who was still abased at his words. Then he turned his gaze towards the rest of the Pack and said to them;"Is there anyone that still has something to ask Tania? Do so now cos I'm taking her upstairs with me."Wow, as simple as that sounded, I couldn't help but admit that it was hot. I couldn't deny the tingling feeling that went through my spine. How could such plain words like that sound so...so racy? Talon spoke as though I was his woman. As if he

As soon as I heard him, I felt every flow of life become static inside of me. How come I didn't know that? But my teachers told me that... Yeah right, that was 7 years ago. Of course it was possible that Black Fur had changed their name. Valeria was a small kingdom after all and seven years was such a long time already.I just hoped that Talon wasn't thinking that I was a pretender or worse still, a bad person that had come to spy on them."With the state you were in a few hours ago, you didn't seem like someone that had come seeking for greener pastures. You were tense. In a rush to escape and then..."And then I saved you. Was that what he was trying to say?"And then you were almost attacked." Talon continued. "Can you boldly tell me to my face that you have come seeking for greener pastures?" He asked."Even if it were to be you, would you go straight and answer her question knowing fully well that your answer will determine how you are being treated?" I rolled my eyes away and re

My body jolted immediately I saw him standing in front of me. My heart began to pound fast inside my chest and there I was seated with no single word coming out of my mouth, instead my eyes were widened in surprise and I could tell that he was enjoying the look on my face. A smirk cornered his lips and then he offered his hand in help to me. What was that for? Did I tell him that I needed any help?"You don't have to be stubborn. Come let's go to bed," Talon said to me and as strange as that sounded, I couldn't deny the fact that it sounded fruity to my ears.He said it as though we were a couple that was trying to resolve relationship issues and I felt this tingling sensation in my body which continued to send perpetual ripples in my spine. His voice and the tone with which he said it with, it was just so beautiful to hear but I had to maintain as if I wasn't moved by it."But I told you that I'm comfortable here. Why can't you just leave me to stay where I deem fit for me?" I aske

"How long will you continue to stare at me, Tania?" Talon spoke surprisingly even with his eyes closed, his deep voice enclosing me in fear. I wondered how he knew that I was staring at him. Maybe it was his sixth sense but as soon as I heard him, I immediately withdrew myself and lay on my side facing the opposite side.My eyes were wide open, my eyeballs moved from side to side in curiosity as to whether he was staring at me as well. I felt a slight disturbance in the bed and I heard the sheet move. I was so tempted to turn around and look -- I wanted to see if Talon was doing something weird but that would only make matters worse so I stayed put and pretended as though I was sleeping. My heart pounded heavily inside my chest and I shut my eyes close. I heard something moving by my side. Talon was moving beside me -- it was as if he was coming close to me but since I wasn't sure about it, I didn't react at all.And then I felt it...His hand. I stayed still, allowing his words to comfort me. I wanted to trust him and I was going to trust him. Besides, it was already too late to say no now. My body wanted the feel of his hands and my mind was prepared for the things he was going to do to help me relax. It was all about what he wanted to do to me and how it was going to affect me-- even the ambience was in synchronization of the high-strung moment."So just relax and let me take care of you. You are my guest, remember?" Talon said to me and I immediately laid back on the bed -- as if I was surrendering completely to him. "Do not say a word. Just be still..."I did as I was told and he started to perform things with his fingers. The thought that I couldn't see what he was doing but feel it instead was sexy enough and I was trying to keep my thoughts together. My body quivered as soon I felt his hands on my thighs. I felt his fingers make invisible patterns on it which sent a sort of sensational feeling around my torso and th

Tania's POVFor the first time in seven years I felt like I belonged. Crescida, a land which was my worst nightmare before, had become a place similar to home. All these were made possible because of our determination to get things right and I am grateful for it.Talon and I strolled through the kingdom of Crescida, the cobblestone streets beneath our feet echoing with each step. The bustling marketplaces and lively taverns slowly faded into the background as we ventured beyond the familiar paths. Tall stone buildings and intricately carved archways lined our way, whispering tales of the kingdom's storied past.As we wandered, the ambiance shifted. The air grew cooler, carrying with it the scent of moss and damp earth. We followed a meandering path that led us away from the town, guided by the whispers of rustling leaves and the distant sound of flowing water.Soon, we found ourselves ascending a rugged mountain, its slopes adorned with ancient trees and lush vegetation. Tania's POVI could hardly believe my eyes as we breached the gates of Crescida. The sight that awaited us in the city square was heart-wrenching and ignited an inferno of rage within me. There, in the center, stood Talon, my lover, the leader of Ascot and beacon of hope for my people's freedom, bound to a stake, his body marked by cruel lashes. The crowds jeered and mocked, reveling in his humiliation. How could they do that to their own?Fury surged through my veins, and I sprinted towards Talon, my heart pounding in my chest. "Tania," he called out but I ignored, my sole focus was only to free him. The ropes that constricted him strained against his struggles, a twisted symbol of his captivity. I drew my blade with a determined hand, slashing through the ropes that held him captive. Each cut felt like a strike against the tyranny that had oppressed our people for far too long.As the ropes fell away, I cradled Talon in my trembling arms, my hands a mixture of anger and tenderness

The absence of any windows in this room intensified our suffering, making it a tangible and agonizing experience. This was the pivotal moment, the crossroads where I confronted the choice that would define me. I could either succumb to my doubts and accept the role of a feeble Luna, forever relying on others to rescue me from trouble, burdened by the weight of my kingdom and the fragility of my love.
