Leaving for Good

My poor judgement has always cost me irrevokable mistakes. I lost Jenny and Pete for the same reason and now Vera.

I should have asked questions before acting on impulse. But I thought she was in league with the man who orchested my down fall and because of that, I lost my reasoning.

Hearing all that Derrick said caused me a great pain. It turned out that while I was trapped in my subconscious, I wasn't the only one in hell. Vera passed through a greater hell.

How do I reverse my actions and make her stay?

"Bring in the healers and Vera too," I said calmly.

"No way! Speak to Vera yourself. As for the healers they will be brought in soon," Derrick bowed and walked out on me.

I shut my eyes, regretting all that I had done. Well you wouldn't blame me, I didn't have a full picture of the whole situation.

"My Alpha, do not let Beta Derrick's attitude get at you. He has been erratic and irrational since we found ourselves in this situation… I can boldly say that he has lost
