A New Dawn

When I woke up, it was morning. I was under the sheet and pressed closely against Alpha Joash's body. I had typically slept on him as the side of the bed where I snuck up to was relatively small.

Looking up, I caught him staring down at me…

"Good morning, Your…" he tilted down and pecked me slightly on the lips.

"I am glad that you are with me… I watched over you all night… I was afraid that you might sneak away…"

"Really? You think I will leave after such passionate moments?"

"You have done it before… remember?"

"Common…don't be so brazen … "

He chuckled and I kissed his forehead.

"I have to get going… I should get prepared for the day before your caregivers arrive."

"Tell me you are not leaving again," he coaxed.

"Common! You have my words… I mean… since you want me to stay, I'm staying."

I rose to my feet, tucked him in and walked out. If I stayed I might not be able to leave anymore.
