There was nothing but complete trust and loyalty in Miles’s eyes. When I’d first arrived in the prison, Miles stayed alone in the shadows but was picked on easily by the other creatures. Miles wasn’t like me. He wasn’t born a werewolf. He was bitten by one which made sense why he was reluctant to fight back. He didn’t know how to. The constant bullying had gotten worse.
