Christmas Eve

I woke up the next morning and hurried to the bathroom. Hart had stayed in our room again last night and I smiled at both him and Eve cuddled together on her bed as I rushed by. After the bathroom, I walked to the kitchen to clean up the mess from the night before. I had gone to bed while everyone was still here since I was exhausted.

I was surprised to find a spotless kitchen. The big table was all set up and so were all the chairs. I smiled and sighed. They must have cleaned and set it up before leaving or going to bed. I took a deep breath and could smell all the baking and the chili from last night. It made our house smell cozy and I loved it. I started a pot of coffee and poured a cup a juice. I went into the living room and was startled to find Luke and Peter sleeping on the couches and Finn sleeping on the air mattress on the floor.
