Narrator-Cindy led Cara towards the center of the main entrance, where Cara first entered the mansion. Cindy turned her back on the front doors and faced the stairs. Cara copied her actions, while pushing up her glasses over her nose bridge, with the back of her right index finger."Now we won't have a chance to explore all the rooms today, but standing here, I think we can cover a fair amount of the space." Cindy began.Cara nodded and said, "okay.""Alright, so when you come in, on your right-hand side of the mansion, you'll find the various sitting and living areas. Further down the hall, there's an indoor gym with a sauna room, and home theater. There's also a small library, but I've never been in there." Cindy pointed to the grand hallway branching off to the right."On your left, is the grand dining hall and kitchen. There's also an outdoor dining area on the west side of the mansion that you can access at the end of the hallway." Cindy then turned her attention to the left-hand
Narrator- The large, almost empty dining room provided the perfect acoustic for the clinking of Cara's silver fork against the white ceramic plate, as she saw to nibbling away the rest of her food. But that alone proved to be a task, for Cara felt sad and found it hard to swallow due to the ball of unshed tears lodged in her throat. Somewhere along the way of burying her father and being taken from her home, Cara found that with every new face she met today, she hoped to see her father's face in one of them. Except she didn't. Joe's face always brought a smile and a sense of comfort to Cara's spirit. Now that comfort was permanently erased. This realization that she would never see her father again, no matter how hard she looked, caused reality to slam back into Cara's being like a rogue volleyball smacking against a human face. Cara sighed and shook her head. The reality of her father's death turned her world upside down. It seemed that her old world died the moment her father's hea
Narrator- Cara blinked in astonishment and slight concern as she looked at Jason, who stared back with a calm façade, while his hands rested in his pockets. The excitement and adrenaline began to rise in Cara's veins, her heartbeat accelerating beneath the pressure of the tall man's gaze. She tried to appear calm, and silently thanked her melanin tone which hid the heat that caused her face to flush with blood due to the tension in the large hallway. Otherwise, her shame and slight fear would've painted her cheeks crimson red, and her guilt from being caught for breaking a rule would've been as scarlet as the letter A itself. On the other hand, Jason found this situation to irk him to the bone. He knew that Cara was going to be a challenge. She showed her true colors quite early on, but now that she expressed no care for the boundaries he instilled within the walls of his home, he felt that some action would have to be taken. The thought of reprimanding Cara in a way that would get h

Seeing this as her last chance, Cara grabbed Jason's elbow, keeping him from stepping through the curtain. "Wait." Cara said urgently, prompting Jason to stop and look down on her hands clasping down on his skin. Noticing his reaction, Cara removed her hands, but held eye contact with Jason. "I'm sorry." Cara began again. "I promise you, it won't happen again. This isn't my territory, it's yours and I have to respect your boundaries. You don't have to do this." Cara apologized truthfully. With Cindy already gone through the curtain, it was now just the two of them. Jason turned his body fully towards Cara. She blinked at his actions but said noth
Narrator- Cara breathed heavily, her eyes staring angrily at Jason, who on the other hand was calmer than the sea at sunrise. While Cara panted from her struggles, which she attempted every once in a while, Jason had no problem holding her in this position. He studied the way she excited herself while trying to escape him. His grip on her wrists did not relent, which resulted in a thin lining of sweat to form between their skins. She said nothing more and placed all her energy in her fight to remove her body from his, but the harder she tried, the more Jason pushed their intertwined hands into the small of her back, forcing her to flush as close as possible against him. Cara frowned when she realized that she was now fully plastered against Jason's form. Her shoulder muscles were already tense, and her neck was enveloped in a dizzying heat. Being so close and personal with Jason caused Cara to feel helpless, and as much as she wanted to take another bite at gun, she only wished to do
Narrator- Cara was startled from her resting state by Cindy's blaring iPhone alarm. Her heartrate instantly spiked, and she swallowed a gulp of overnight-flavored saliva, while staring at the ceiling, trying to calm her breathing. Cara turned her neck to the right when she heard Cindy mutter and stretch in her bed. Cindy lifted her hand and tapped around until she felt her phone screen and turned off the alarm. She yawned loudly, then rolled over, facing Cara. "Good Morning girly." Cindy greeted, though she was still half sleeping. Cara rubbed her eyes and yawned. "What time is it?" Cara asked, while sitting up. Cindy lifted her hand in sign that Cara wait for a moment, then she turned on her stomach and placed her head on her pillow. Cara watched on perplexed. "Did you fall asleep again-" Cara was in the process of asking after a moment, when Cindy's hand shot up again, in sign of wait. Zipping her lips, Cara waited. Cindy took a few more seconds before lifting her head
Narrator- Cindy entered the office, while passing close to Cara. In that moment of close contact, Cara made a quick face of her eyes rolling up and her tongue sticking out to the side of her mouth, to indicate that Jason was killing her. Cindy did her best to stifle a chuckle and cleared her throat while making her way to Jason's desk. Cara took her time in closing the door and took even longer to walk back to the desk. She pretended to be studying the credit card in her hand, and while she expected to see the company's name, instead she noticed it was Jason's first and last name on the card. Frowning, Cara reached the desk and prepared to sink into the spongy seat. Jason waited for Cara's butt to almost reach the seat, when he cleared his throat and spoke up, "Oh Miss Thompson, please wait in the hall. I'd like to speak with Cindy alone." "What-" Cara breathed out, her face instantly marring into an angry mask. Jason rose an eyebrow at her actions, and Cara sent a side glance to
Narrator- Jason sat back in his chair, with his intertwined fingers resting just above his belt buckle. A soft, absentminded smile quirked the corners of his lips, his mind clouded with the echoes of Cara's conversation in the car. So Cara was in fact a good girl... at least untainted in body and pure in the mind. This intrigued Jason more than he would've liked it to, however it did give him the upper hand on how to handle Cara from now on, whenever she crossed the line. The Dom's calculating was cut off, when a swift knock sounded from his office's door. Looking at the wooden barricade, Jason straightened himself, and pulled closer to the desk. "Come in." He invited. The door opened, and in walked Monique, dressed in a workout shorts that could pass for boyshort panties, and a crop top that clearly exposed her underboob. As soon as Monique stepped into the office, Jason's spine stiffened, his blood turning sour in his veins. Jason sighed, not feeling up to entertaining any
Narrator-Cara and Jason returned to the mansion a week after tying the knot. Jason spoiled his wife to a honeymoon trip to Aruba following their night at the hotel. When they returned home, while sharing dinner, Cara had a new question for her husband."Jason.""Yes Mrs. Trujilo." He answered her.Cara smiled at the name and rolled her eyes before stating, "what should we do with tall the empty rooms in the mansion?"Jason didn't bother to hide his surprise at her question, before he smirked and placed his cutlery down. He placed his elbows on the table and rested his chin on his intertwined fingers while he thought on her question. Then, he answered, "well, I could always impregnate you about thirteen times, and we fill this house up with our children."Cara laughed before shaking her head and saying, "or how about we open a foster home?" She suggested carefully.Jason rose an eyebrow at her suggestion."We could have the kitchen and cleaning staff come back, just like before. We co

I hope you'll forgive me for telling Jason all about the fantasies of your dream wedding, but I also hope that it was all you had imagined and more.Cara shook her head at the card and giggled, then she placed the card along with her father's letter and roses on a nearby side table. She faced Jason again. His hands were in his pockets, and he was watching her. Cara smiled and walked up to him. She placed her hands on his shoulder
Jason-I looked at Cara while she made a show of looking around the suite, although I knew she was only stalling. I smiled at her actions when she ran out of items to focus on and was forced to look back at me.I placed my hands in my pockets and stared at her. She made eye contact, then smiled and looked away. I knew she liked it when I took this stance, and I wanted to make her comfortable."How are you feeling?" I asked her, breaking the silence. Her eyes snapped back to me, and my heart didn't fail to skip that beat it always did when her round eyes met mine. She smiled and took in a breath while lifting her shoulders, "Happy, but also a little overwhelmed."I liked that she was being honest."Yes, I figured that today might've caught you off guard, but you handled yourself well during the vows." I expressed, although a last question lingered on my tongue... Did you mean all you said during your vows?I watched her smile and shrug again as she avoided my eyes and blushed, "Yeah we
Narrator- Cara gulped while staring into Jason's eyes. She knew he was serious, and she had no strength nor desire to hold onto her pride any longer, so with a droop in her shoulders, her body soften beneath Jason's strong physique. "Jason, plea- what, what do you want from me?" Cara asked softly, while looking into his eyes through the mirror.Jason's fingers tightened in her hair at the sound of her voice, and he pressed his mouth in her ear again and whispered while still holding eye contact, "The truth."Cara sighed and licked her lips. She would try to be stubborn one last time. It's as if Jason read her mind, and before knew his, his hand pinched the skin of her hips, encouraging Cara to speak without holding back. "Okay yes!" Cara suddenly belted out, "Yes I want you, yes I want to be with you. I belong to you. I thought it was clear even before I left. And I'm pissed that you let me walk away, more do than I was when I blamed you for my father's death. Damn it Jason, you're

His voice said casually.Cara drew in a breath and opened her eyes, but her vision was blocked by a satin cloth. Her body was seated on a wooden chair, with her hands bound behind her back. Her ankles were each bound to a leg chair, away from each other, causing her thighs to spread apart and her body to be exposed to the cool wind which blew over her sensitive skin.Cara gulped. She did miss him, his voice, his touch, his lips..."Well did you?" He said, then his hands landed on her shoulders.Cara gulped, the lining of her spine tingling with goosebumps. His hand palmed its way over her shoulder, then the border of her neck, until he caressed the length of her vocal cord. Cara gulped again, she licked her lips and released a shuddering breath. His thumb traced her bottom lip, and he lowered his mouth to her left ear. He kissed the skin of her o
Narrator-The room Cara expected to see had been transformed into a different setting. The two full beds had been replaced with a large, sole, queen bed. The dresser remained and both nightstands were each planted on a respective side of the bed. Due to the larger space, the sitting area was upgraded with a larger couch and an armchair. Cindy's photographs were replaced with various paintings. The room itself was now livened with indoor greenery. The bed was decorated with sky blue sheets and white designs to match the curtains which adorned the large windows and balcony door. Cara dropped her bag casually on a side table near the door, and with her suspicions getting the best of her, she headed to the closet. To more of her suspicions and less of her surprise, the clothes she had left behind were still hanging in the closet. Cara closed the door with a huff and turned around in anguish. So she was back in the mansion and felt ready to scream. But screaming would have to wait, for a
Narrator-Cara dropped the photos back on the table in anguish then stood and walked up to Jason. He took a step forward and met her halfway. Cara drew in a deep breath and fisted her fingers. Jason looked down at her scowl and kept his face neutral, but his eyes hardened by the second. Their chests pumped simultaneously with heavy and excited pants.Jason watched closely as Cara's eyes filled with angry tears, and she wiped them away with the back of her hand before they spilled. Then she looked at Jason again and her heart ached in her chest. He had admitted to wanting her, but still, her heart hurt."Why did it take you so damn long?" Cara demanded.Jason stuffed his hands in his pockets and lowered his face as close as possible to Cara's."I wanted to give you a chance to really think on whether or not you'd walk away from me again." Jason said lowly. His tone had bumps piling over Cara's skin, and she wondered why Jason couldn't just be the regular man who simply hugged her and s
Narrator-Cara crossed her arms and stared at Jason. He was openly daring her to lie. And she could... but he would know and might retaliate. Cara couldn't handle Jason catching onto her lie and retaliating. The way he stared at her with his hands still in his pockets, she still couldn't believe that he was there. But he was too late. Cara wondered why he waited so long to come after her. The questioned soured her heart and Jason noticed it. He wanted to know what she was thinking, but he bid his time. Cara was his once and for all. He had all the time in the world now, to know her, to own her, and he wasn't afraid of losing her again.Cara licked her tongue over her teeth while her lips remained sealed, then she sucked her teeth, "I'm not doing this with you." She admitted in the end."Wise choice." Jason pointed. Then he removed his shirt, and Cara stepped back again."Now," Jason sighed, "it's been quite a long day, and I'd like to get some rest."Cara looked at Jason with a lost g
Jason-"Alright, thank you Declan." I expressed, then turned off the phone while heading to my room.I closed the door behind me, and instantly removed my tie and my shirt. I walked around my bed, and opened the first drawer in my nightstand. I pulled out the white envelope, which now bore a wrinkled corners and sweaty fingerprints, as a result of being opened over and over again the past few months.I pulled out the contents of the envelope and leaned back on the head of my bed. My eyes scanned the pieces of paper in my hand until I had read each word verbatim. Then I closed my eyes and sighed.Cara was gone, and I had no idea what to do.I spent the past few months building he perfect defense against her. I told myself I wouldn't get affected by her spunk and fire. Except I was fooling myself. Like a pyromaniac, I was drawn in by the explosion of emotions and personality which she housed behind that pretty face and sharp, tasty tongue. Like a glutton, I was addicted to her taste. Bu
