Ed Sheeran’s Remember my name played as I danced around my bedroom getting cleaned up for my date.

Me going on a date. I couldn’t believe it either. I hadn’t been on a date since my ex prior to the breakup.

I sang along to the song as I put on my makeup. Eli sat on my bed with his headphones on watching Paw Patrol. In my house it's life, well Paw Patrol and dinosaurs.

He grinned up at me as I danced in front of the mirror. I grinned back as Bad Wolves took over. I grabbed a purple sweater dress that had gorgeous lace running up the sleeves and top with scalloping in the front and back. The dress ended right before my knees and hugged all my curves. Maybe too dressy for a bakery but I wanted to show Jasper I was more than just a mom. I was sexy too. I shook my head as I thought about our text conversation from earlier.

I took a quick mirror selfie and sent it to Lori.
