For the last 2 days, Gabriel has been busy getting to know the city and its people. It is clear to him that there is a big difference between the poor and the rich. Unfortunately, everyone seems to be too scared to talk to him. He will have to talk to Angus tonight and figure out a strategy to learn more about what the people of Dandion actually think. He puts on some decent clothes for the dinner because Lord Midas has a dinner for the nobility of Dandion. Gabriel looks in the mirror and sighs, his eyes seem sad and not vibrant like normal. He really misses Noelle so much that it hurts.It is hard to concentrate on his task here when all he can think of is his beautiful wife. JULIAS POV,At 6 in the morning, Julias is standing next to Luna on a plateau at the big square. The square is swarming with people and even on the streets, it is more crowded than ever. HOLLY’S POV,It takes Holly hours to calm down after the bomb that Nolan dropped on her. She knew he would get sick of her at some point but it still came like a shock. She thought she didn’t have a heart left to give him but why does it hurt so much then? She can’t bear the thought of him being with someone else. Which means she must love him so why can’t she just give him the version of herself that he needs. She thinks about it the whole night but the answer is just as unclear in the morning as it was the night before. With a sigh, she gets up from bed and decides to go find Zeus. Just hearing waterdrops gives too much space to think and she has learned to cope by keeping herself distracted. NOELLE’S POV,As soon as we fly over the wall it feels like I wound up in a storm. Fire and weapons fly around me. I see light and explosions everywhere and it is immediately complete chaos. I can feel the impact of every blow that lands on Thorns armor. I look around to find Hades but all I can see are demons, dark humans, and creatures of Hell. Hades must have put up some illusion so he and the 4 horsemen can stay out of sight and let the rest of the army do most of the fighting.I bite my lip in frustration because there goes my plan B to take out the most powerful play-ers to end the fight. NOELLE’S POV,I hear Gabriel call my name somewhere in a distant place of my mind, but I can’t take my eyes off Hades. I stare at him and then I realize what is wrong, Donna is standing next to him, and she is also smiling at me. Shivers go through my body, and I want to scream to Ga-briel that something is wrong, but I can’t speak. The amulet around my neck starts to get warm and levitates me up in the air. It feels like something is trying to pull my insides out of me. I start screaming from pain and I can see purple light flowing out of me into Hades.
