The past few days have been torture. Seeing Amy in that bed every day when I go to visit her just breaks my heart. But I am glad she is back to me. I cannot wait for the day she will come back home with me. She is improving and the doctor said that she might come home tomorrow depending on how she responds.

She has given her statement to the police. She cannot remember much. She did not get to see the people who took her. She was just blindfolded the entire time. I cannot even imagine the torture of that. She could hear their voices as they talked and could be able to identify them by their voices. I am so glad that she does not know that her mother is behind all of this. It could break her hurt. She does not need to know. She asked for her mum, and I told her she got into an accident and could not make it. I will tell her the truth when she is older.
