KENDRA'S POV

The girl with the blonde curls bit her lip, glancing at her friend before finally whispering. "I heard the guards talking. They said Alpha Dexter brought someone in."

My heart skipped a beat, my face lighting up with curiosity.

"Good. Who is the person, a male, or a female?" I inquired.

"I overheard it was a female, and she is in the Alpha's sacred den, but he won't gain anyone access in there," she added, spilling more than I asked for.

"Are you sure?" I urged, keeping my excitement hidden.

She nodded. "But I don't know anything else. I swear!"

I patted her cheek condescendingly. "That's all I needed to know," I grinned. "Here," I handed her the coil I had in my purse.

"Thank you, Luna," she beamed.

So I was Luna now? Money could buy anything.

Without another word, I turned and strode out, my pulse racing. The sacred den.

If Daisy was there, then Dexter had gone to great lengths to keep her hidden.

As I approached the sacred den, my heart pounded harder. Was I making

DEXTER'S POVFOUR DAYS LATERI was pissed off at Kendra for coming into the sacred den. I should have let her bleed out on the floor the other day, but the pack wouldn't take it well that I let my Luna die like that, and I didn't try to help her, so I mind linked the pack healer to come and get her. She was lucky I wasn't in such a bad mood. Anyway, now I was standing in the presence of my love. Daisy. She was so beautiful even though she looked so unkempt now, and she smelt a little ripe. I still would eat her pussy in this state. "I want to fuck you Daisy so you could bear my pups," I bent down next to her and ran a finger over her cheek. She recoiled, but I knew she didn't mean it. It was the dark magic. It hadn't left her system as yet. "You are mine always. The sooner you let that stick into your head, the better you will feel, and the clearer things will be for you," I growled.“I’d rather die than lie with you,” she sp

DEXTER'S POVDaisy looked up when I entered, her eyes narrowing. "What is that?" "Food," I said simply, setting the tray down in front of her. She eyed it like it was poison. "You expect me to eat this?" I shrugged. "Suit yourself. But you need strength to keep fighting me, don't you?" I grinned at her. I couldn't wait to taste her lips again. Her lips pressed into a thin line, her stomach betraying her with a soft growl. I saw the moment she gave in, her pride warring with her hunger. She hesitated before finally taking a small, cautious bite, struggling with the bondages in her hand. I smirked. "Tastes familiar, doesn't it?" She froze, the spoon halfway to her lips. "You made this?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. "Don't look so surprised," I said, leaning back. "You used to eat this when you were upset. I remembered." Her throat bobbed as she swallowed. But suddenl

ZORDON'S POVIsla clasped my hand as we walked into the venue. The reporters’ camera lights flashed furiously as they captured as many pictures of us as they could. They screamed my name, yelling out question after question. My eyelids squinted with each snap that they took.I was a man who rarely went out in public, so the media was in a frenzy trying to catch a glimpse of the great Alpha Zordon. Ever since I became alpha, I had refused over a hundred media invitations to do interviews. I wasn't too keen on having my private business blasted on the front pages of the papers for my enemies to see. My reputation didn't stop them from asking their weird and personal questions though. "Alpha Zordon, are the rumours about your Luna having a miscarriage true?" One man yelled as he stuck his camera in my face to snap my photo. I grunted, using my palm to brush his camera out of my face as I continued walking. "Alpha Zordon, are you

ZORDON'S POVI must have passed out again after Isla helped me back to the bed. When I opened my eyes, I did not know how much time had passed. All that I know was that I wanted to leave this place, and I wanted to get to Daisy as soon as possible. Five days! Five fucking days and I hadn't heard from her. I managed to get out of the bed this time, and I felt happy that I finally had some sensation in my legs. However, the door was pushed open and Isla sauntered in with a funny-looking old man  — "Alpha, where do you think you are going? I told you that you are not allowed to leave this place! I am doing all that I can to save your life. Can you please make things easier for me?" Isla asked me. She strode over to me and helped me back to the bed. "Daisy! Have you tried reaching her?" I asked her, without a care for my health. The bad feeling inside of me just got worse. I knew that something was

KENDRA'S POVA sharp pain in my stomach forced me to open my eyes. When I did, I realized I was in the hospital. The events that brought me here flashed through my mind, and I placed my hand on my stomach protectively. My baby! My baby had to be safe. Nothing could happen to my child! The door was pushed open, and the healer walked inside. "Luna, you're awake," he announced, smiling at me. "What happened to me? My baby is fine, right? Tell me nothing has happen to my child?” I rushed all the words out. He had a sad look on his face, and I shook my head. "No! No, this can't be. It just can't be true. This can't be happening," I said, still shaking my head. How could I lose my baby? How could I lose Dexter's baby? With this child, my relationship with him would have gotten better. He wouldn't have been able to ignore me the way he always did. Why did this ha

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   69: My Father

KENDRA'S POVI stayed in the hospital for two more days before I was allowed to leave, and it was the most gruesome two days of my life. I kept holding on to hope, thinking that Dexter would have a change of heart, and he would come to see me since it was his heir that had died like that. But he didn't do any of that. He just ignored me. He didn't even think about sending a guard to come check up on me. The love I had for him was now entwined with hate, and any time I thought of him and Daisy, I wanted to stick a knife to their chests so badly. At this rate, I knew I might end up dying because of this man, but I didn't even mind it anymore. He had hurt me way too much! I was walking towards the door when it was pushed open and my father walked in, a cold and annoyed look on his face. I gasped when I saw him. I had not seen my father since I became Dexter's mate. We only communicated over the phone. If he

KENDRA'S POVAfter everything Dexter put me through, I reached a point where I understood that relying on a man of his character was no longer an option for me. He could only blame himself for what I was about to do to him! The person who was closest to him now was Tony, and I was sure that he knew everything that there was to know about the pack. The thought of that man alone triggered a throbbing in my head. Tony wasn't a fan of me. So how was I supposed to get him to fall for my charm and get on my side? I shrugged my shoulders and went to seek out Tony. I came across him sitting by the bar's window, enjoying a drink. I found out pretty easily that Tony's a regular at this bar, so I swung by hoping to see him. I took a deep breath as I approached him. I kinda hoped the alcohol would help him drop his guard.“Tony, this is such a surprise running into you here! What's the deal with you sitting here all by yourself

After I sat there listening to him vent about being passed over to become Beta, and getting him drunk, he still didn't let me in on where Dexter was keeping Daisy. I had to find her for myself.I waited for it to get dark, then I stealthily slipped out of my room when I felt like the coast was clear. I was out walking for an hour, not sure where I was headed, when a comment from Tony suddenly made sense. Dexter was keeping Daisy in the last place I would go. Could that have been a hint from him?It suddenly popped into my head. The library was the only place I didn't like visiting. I wasn't much of a reader, plus too many books kinda freaked me out a bit. The library sat in the east of the yard. I hurried over to the east building, my heart pounding in my chest. Since Daisy left, Dexter started to spend the majority of his free

JEZEBEL'S POVThe moment I finished eating my meal, I tasted it.The air shifted.A ripple moved through the ancient bonds that tethered me to life and death. Something pulsed in the ether. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply, savouring it like blood on the tongue.Life.Not just any life. Her life. The Moonblood's womb had stirred. The child had taken hold.A wolf blessed by the heavens... and touched by shadows.I smiled. My deal with Zordon had brought me everything I needed. His desperation had opened a door. Now, I would walk through it.I reached for my mirror, bone-framed and rimmed in hair. A cruel thing made from a dozen betrayals. I whispered Kendra's name, and the mirror flared to life. She answered on the second ring, lips already painted red like blood in bloom."Jezebel," she said, her voice sharp. "Why are you calling so late?""It's time to get you pregnant."Kendra's breath caught."Now?" she whispered. "But Dexter is getting ready for battle tomorrow.""Yes now. It's

My Moonblood. And the child she now carried. My boots hit the forest floor hard, crushing frost and ash underfoot. The wind screamed through the trees as if it too sensed what was coming."She wasn't supposed to fight tonight!" Stefan shouted behind me."She didn't go to fight," I growled. "She went to steal something. That flare means something else found her."I didn't say the word out loud.Vorrak.Lila's warning haunted me. A soul-tethered beast, fed by Daisy's stolen power, twisted by Dexter's blood magic. And now it was loose, hunting the only thing it could feel connected to.My gut burned.

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   145: It Found Us

DAISY'S POVBy nightfall, the wind turned sharp, dragging mist down from the peaks like claws across the stone. We met at the river's edge, cloaked in black and silver, our scents masked with ashroot and pine blood. The others didn't know about the pregnancy. Only Zordon, Lila, Isla, Dustin and Stefan. And for now, it needed to stay that way.If anyone doubted my strength, this mission would fail before it began.I paced in front of the river team, five of Deathclaw's most trusted: Isla, of course, quiet and deadly as a shadow; Dustin, the skeptic, chosen for his strategic mind; Nyra, a half-blood scout who could hold her breath underwater for minutes; and Pablo, the silent brute whose loyalty was as fierce as his temper.Zordon stood just outside the clearing, fists clenched at his sides, watching me like he wanted to drag me back into the stronghold and lock the doors behind us.But he knew better."This isn't just a raid," I told them. "We're not here to fight our way in and hope f

DAISY'S POVThe scar beneath my heart wouldn't stop burning.Even after Lila collapsed and the circle was cleared, even after Isla scattered the lunar dust to sever the veil's residue, the pain pulsed beneath my skin like a second heartbeat.I gripped the table to steady myself. My legs had started trembling, and it wasn't just from fear.Something inside me felt... wrong. Not just the tether. Not just the Vorrak. Something deeper. Something new.Zordon came to my side and placed a hand on my back. "You need to lie down.""I'm fine," I said quickly."You're not."I tried to wave him off, but the moment I moved, a wave of nausea hit me like a storm. I turned my head sharply and barely made it to the basin in the corner before I vomited.Everyone went silent.Zordon rushed to me, crouching down. "Daisy—""I said I'm fine," I hissed, wiping my mouth. My entire body was shaking now. Too hot, then too cold. My magic surged beneath my skin, then recoiled, confused, and chaotic.Lila stepped

  • STOLEN BY THE RUTHLESS ALPHA   143 The Vorrak Walks

DAISY'S POVThe war room of the Deathclaw stronghold was carved into the side of a mountain, cold stone kissed with moss and ash. A fire roared in the center pit, casting flickering shadows across the worn wooden table littered with maps, rune stones, and hastily scrawled plans.I stood at the head of it all, hands braced against the edge of the table, eyes locked on the map of Pinewood territory."We strike the south flank here," Zordon said, tapping near the Ashen Bridge. "The guards rotate every two hours. We move just before dawn while the full patrol is returning and the replacements are still getting into place.""They'll expect a direct charge," Dustin muttered, arms crossed. "We should bring in the witchfire archers from the House of Authur. Rain hell down on them first.""We can't," Lila said from across the room. "If the wards they're using are blood-bound, witchfire won't work. It'll bounce off and hit our own."I raised a hand, cutting the bickering short. "We need a dist

DAISY'S POVThe first thing I felt was fire burning hot, and coursing through my chest like molten glass. Then came the cold. Like I'd fallen through ice. Voices echoed in the dark. Zordon's. Isla's. And another one. It was strange, but familiar all at the same time. Then light.I gasped, my body arching off the bed as if jolted by lightning. My lungs filled with air like it was the first breath I'd ever taken. My heart thundered in my chest. And I saw her.Her face was kind. Her magic was powerful. But her scent and her aura was wrong. Too clean. Too perfect. It struck me like a scream in the silence."You," I rasped. The room went quiet.Zordon leaned in. "Daisy? It's okay, you're safe. It's over."But I didn't take my eyes off the woman beside me."You're the one," I whispered. My throat was dry, but the rage surged like a tide. "You hexed me. "The only way you should have it is if you killed her. So I'll ask one more time, where did you get that dagger?""Well, my mother told me a powerful witch gave it to her," I said. She pointed at the dagger. "That insignia engraved on the hilt? It belongs to the House of Luthur. My family. My mother only ever spelled one dagger and she gave it to Daisy's mother. Daisy was my neighbour... and my best friend.""When she wakes up, we'll talk," Isla cut in. "But right now, can you help her?"Lila looked from Isla to me and gave a small nod. She stepped toward Daisy and passed through what seemed to be a magical shield surrounding her. Carefully, she pulled the dagger from her chest.Daisy’s eyes flew open. But I had been faced with an impossible choice: her life, or the lives of everyone in this pack.I carried her to my room, gently placing her on my bed. I sat beside her, numb and silent. Moments later, Isla entered with Stefan and Dustin. No one spoke. No one could. We had just managed to contain another attack from the Pinewood pack. I was reaching my breaking point. One more push, and I'd stop holding back. Retaliation was becoming inevitable."Since no one wants to ask the obvious question, I will," Isla said coldly.
