Chapter 147

Amelia’s Pov

We got back to the house around evening. The distance from Alexander’s house to the major part of the city was quite far and so, it took a while to arrive home.

He didn’t blindfold me this time and this was an indication that he was beginning to trust me. My heart couldn’t curtail the excitement it felt and so, I smiled all through.

“You keep smiling”, Alexander observed just as we came out of the car.

“You didn’t blindfold me today. I’m the first girl with such privilege and I would be lying if I say that I’m not excited”, I said truthfully while he chuckled and caressed my hands softly.
