It's time

ACCALIA'S POV

I smiled reassuringly at him, hoping to calm him and encourage him to leave Ken alone.

But as I looked up at him, Don looked at me with so much rage, hatred, betrayal and hurt, my heart broke at the sight. And then, without a second thought, my eyes closed and I buried my face into his chest as I wrapped my arms around his torso.

I felt Don's fingers gently brushing back some strands of hair from my face and caressing my cheek softly, but he didn't say anything.

As I hugged him even tighter, I could hear Ken snickering. "What a gentleman," he mocked.

And when Don didn't say anything, I pulled back slightly, my eyes widened in surprise as I looked at Don and saw him shaking his head at Ken who had the biggest smirk on his face.

"This is not what it seems to be," I whispered.

"It seems that someone has found their lover already, Missy. Just how pathetic," Ken teased sarcastically. "A beautiful, innocent young lady being held against her will."
