ACCALIA'S POV

Wearing only his blue shirt, I timidly stepped out of the room, feeling exposed and vulnerable. Despite trying to appear casual, my nerves betrayed me the moment our eyes met.

"Oh...hey there," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper. The sudden tension in my shoulders was involuntary, a physical reaction to the flood of emotions I couldn't control. My lips pressed together, struggling to keep my composure.

Taking a deep, shaky breath, I mustered a weak smile, an attempt to mask the turmoil churning inside me. "Hi..." I managed to say, my voice laced with hesitation.

The atmosphere was suffocating, filled with an awkwardness that seemed to amplify my insecurities. "Good Morning, Mr. Don," I said, forcing a note of pleasantness into my voice while nodding with a respect that felt more like a defense mechanism.

His nod in response felt distant, formal. "How are you this morning?" I asked, clinging to politeness as a lifeline.
