Chapter Hundred & Nine

Zendaya's point of view

Lester drove us to my family's house, he left because he needed to take care of things. I told him no problem, we have a lot of time to catch up.

The front door opened and my aunt walked out all dressed up. It looks like she's going out. Her bag slipped off her hand the moment she saw me, her expression was that of shock.

“Ze….n….. Zendaya…." She muttered. Her eyes widened in shock as she stared at me.

“Aunt…" a tear abruptly fell off my eyes. It was at this moment that I felt guilty. Guilty of leaving my aunt because I was hurt. She was the only one there for me when my mother died and my father left us. I shouldn't have left her, she doesn't deserve to be alone.

“Zendaya… my dear…. is this you?" She still looks shocked. She couldn't even move from her position.

“Yes aunt… it's me, Zendaya, your niece." I nodded in tears. I hastened my step towards her, and before I knew it, I already threw myself to her and cried on her shoulder. She cried with me, I'm sure
