It’s been two days since Drew and my mom returned from the court, he had sent a text to me few minutes ago stating we needed to talk about something important when he returns. I can’t lie and say I’m not worried, because I am. My mind went to the text from James in my phone, I knew he saw the text that day and even though I have nothing to do with James anymore, I still felt a bit of guilt for not telling Drew about it. Why James had text me, I had no idea but I didn’t bother to reply him, instead I blocked and deleted the number. Drew hadn’t said anything to me about the text but I was certain he saw it because I had seen him with my phone when the text entered but said nothing, or maybe he was waiting for me say something about it first and come clean to him.

I had no idea what it was he wanted us to discuss today but I knew for sure it was concerning us.

The sound of the ringing doorbell startles me from my thoughts and I nervously stood up from the couch to go and open the door, e

Drew still hasn’t asked me anything about the text he saw in my phone, today was supposed to be the day for the court judgement, but Drew had received a text early this morning letting him know the court meeting was adjourned and that we would have to wait till two weeks. According to the judge, all evidences provided would have to be thoroughly investigated, but in the meantime Mark would have to be detained.I stood at the balcony as flashes and memory of the first night Mark assaulted filled my mind, I thought about how my mom had remained silent and allowed it continue for years. Something in me still holds a grudge against my mom but for the sake of peace and the fact she’s willing to change, has melted my heart. I decided to just focus on other things instead of dwelling in the past and allow it ruin my mood. What were the chances that I would have been happy today if I hadn’t bump into Drew at the club that night? Maybe working as a stripper wasn’t bad after all, it was my luck

‘’Hey, when were you going to return my calls.’’ I read as soon as I picked up my phone, it was a text from Nessa. I had no idea she had been calling me or that my phone even rang, I would have found that though if I wasn’t so involved with Drew since this morning.‘’Hey! Sorry but I’ve been busy and I had no idea you were calling me.’’ I typed back, returning her texts.‘’Yea, you were busy, obviously doing what got you pregnant.’’ she typed back immediately making me laugh out loud.‘’Would you rather I…’’ I started to type but was cut short by my phone ringing, it was her face timing me. I picked up at the first ring laughing into the phone, ‘’You know, you shouldn’t have put it that way. I was just busy.’’ I said‘’Not too busy to not have heard your phone ring eleven times Alexa.’’ she snorted out causing me to laugh even more.‘’Okay, you got me there. I had intentions to call you though, maybe you just missed me too much and that was why you had to call first.’’ I told her‘’I

‘’You need to learn to stop touching my stuffs without my permission.’’ Zach’s voice echoed from the hallway where Drew and I stood. We listened and realized he was referring to Catherine.‘’These two always arguing about a thing or another.’’ I said, laughing.Drew took my hands in his and led us downstairs, it was almost time for dinner and the table was being set by Catherine. My mom was helping Theresa in the kitchen and together, I knew they would be making varieties of delicious meals to pick from.‘’Why do you look so mad Zach? I asked trying to find out the reason he had shouted so aggressively at Catherine. He pointed at Catherine before speaking, ‘’Just take a look at her, she can’t go a day without having to wear my clothes.’’he said fuming.I looked at Catherine on the other hand and she seemed so relax and indifferent, as if trying to fuel Zach’s anger more. I couldn’t help but burst at laughing, Catherine joined me as well, laughing out loud like she has been waiting for

The next day came by quickly, Drew left for work earlier than usual, well that was after a passionate lovemaking with me on different surfaces of his room and me screaming his name..He had woken up hyper sexual this morning, at first he tried to suppress it because he didn’t want to disturb me. I noticed how severally he tried not to cuddle me to closely as his member was fully erect and he thought I was still asleep. Nice of him not to want to disturb my sleep but I couldn’t let him go to work in that state, I grabbed his free hands and placed it directly on my breast while with the other hand, I touched his member and began to rub on it, letting him know that I was fully awake and ready for him.The smile that lounged on his face immediately said it all as he squeezed my breast and drew me closer with his other hand, in no time, we were both panting and moaning with his cock deeply thrust inside of me. Soon after, we moved from the bed to stand on the floor, I was holding tightly

Drew had asked that I take the kids and everyone for shopping to get new clothes and other stuffs, I haven’t really gone for any proper shopping since I came here. My clothes were getting too tight as a result of my protruding belly, my mom too needed some new clothes as she didn’t come here with any of her stuffs. It was going to be a long day ahead, I headed upstairs after eating to pick up my phone before going back to the living room to relax. “Good morning sweetie.” My mom greeted me smiling. “Hey mom, good morning.” I replied“How did you sleep?” She asked coming close to where I sat. “Very well mom, what about you?” I asked her. “I did sleep well also.” She said and I nodded. “What would you like to eat for breakfast?” She asked as she took a seat beside me. “I already had breakfast mom, I woke up quite early.” I answered. “Oh that’s okay. How about Drew, did he eat also or would I have to make something for him?” She asked“Drew left for work already, he has a meeting t

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t stop thinking about what my mom had told me earlier this morning. We were getting ready to go out but as I fixed myself and did my makeup, each word kept re-echoing in my head. “If I wouldn’t be able to expose him, then I would kill him.” Those were her exact last words in our discussion and I wondered how that was even possible since he was in the custody of the police at the moment. I doubted I was going to wait till night before completing this conversation with her, Drew would be back already by then and I don’t want him seeing me a fowl mood nor did I want my feelings to ruin the beautiful time we would have together. I strolled out of my room to my mom’s and knocked softly on the door, “It’s me mom” I said and waited for her response. There was no response from her after few seconds so I turned the knob and luckily the door wasn’t locked, I walked in and looked around but she was no where to be seen in the room. I decided to go downsta

“Catherine, hurry up!” I shouted as I made my way to the car. I didn’t know how to drive yet so Theresa was driving us all the shopping mall, Drew’s driver Peter was out of town to go see his family. Drew lives a very simple life despite how wealthy he was, the only home staff he had were the security that guarded the estate and his driver who works for him occasionally. He hired Theresa to be his home keeper not because he needed one, but because he didn’t want the house being empty since he didn’t leave here initially. The hospital he owns, he still visits as a guest or patient and I still wondered what other things he owned that I know nothing about. Catherine rushed out of the house, shutting the door behind her and getting into the car. We headed straight to the mall, stopping first at the restaurant. I ordered for two boxes of margarita pizza and a cup of ice cream for each of us, after eating, we decided to kick off with our shopping. We started first with clothes, shoes a

“It’s past 9am already Alexa, Remember you have an appointment with the doctor.” I heard my mom’s voice followed by a shrieking noise like the sound of a glass hitting the floor and shattering into pieces. I sprang up from bed immediately and looked around, it was my phone. I had pushed it to the ground accidentally while stretching my arms and now the whole surface is broken. “Shit!” I gasped dropping it back on the night stand. “What was that baby?” My mom asked me “I dropped my phone, it’s broken.” I answered her sleepily. “Oh sorry about that honey, is there still a way to fix it up?” She asked with concern. “No I don’t think so. It’s broken beyond repair, I’ll just get another one.” I told her and got off the bed lazily. “I brought you breakfast honey, you should eat and get ready.” She said and made to leave the room. “Where’s Drew?” I asked her because I didn’t quite remember telling her I was going anywhere today, I wondered how she got to know. “Oh he’s downstairs wor

I woke up early the next morning, feeling excited and nervous. Today was Zach's 17th birthday, and I had plans to surprise him with a special gift. I got out of bed and began to get ready for the day. Drew stirred beside me, opening one eye to look at me. "What's going on?" he asked, his voice husky with sleep."It's Zach's birthday today," I replied, smiling. Drew chuckled and sat up in bed. "Yeah, that’s right. “He’s gonna get real spoilt today.”We both got dressed and headed downstairs to the kitchen. Theresa was already there, cooking up a storm. The delicious smell of pancakes and bacon filled the air, making my stomach growl with hunger."Good morning," Theresa said, smiling at us.“Good morning.” I said and went to help her set the table. “Oh dear, Catherine should handle that.” She said and called on Catherine who rushed from her room to come set the table. “It’s fine, I want to do it.” I told her and she just nodded, stepping back into the kitchen. I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement as Drew’s hands wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I leaned in, my lips brushing against his. We kissed softly, the tension between us building into something extra. Drew's hands traveled up my back, his fingers tracing the curve of my spine. I shivered, feeling a thrill run down my whole body. He deepened the kiss, his tongue tangling with mine and fighting fiercely for dominance. I felt myself getting lost in the moment, my heart racing with excitement. Drew's hands cupped my face, his thumbs tracing the curve of my cheeks. We broke apart for a moment, gasping for air."I love you," Drew whispered, his eyes burning with intensity."I love you too," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper. We kissed again, the passion between us never quenching, gladly I was melting into his arms, our hearts beating as one.The sound of Drew's phone ringing broke the spell, and we reluctantly pulled apart. Drew smiled, his eyes still bu

“Who wants some?” Theresa asked walking in with a plate of sandwiches. I raised my hands and she gave me some, then Zach and Catherine. We munched in silence as we continued to see the movie, just then my phone notifications went off with series of messages. I picked up my phone and checked for who the recipient was, it was Nessa. I had just spoken to her few minutes ago, I wondered what it was she had sent to me as I cleaned my hands with a paper towel and unlocked my phone. “Jezz!” I gasped, my mouth forming an ‘O’ shape. “What’s wrong?” Theresa asked looking at me, not just her, Zach and Catherine too. “Uhm, nothing serious. I’ll just go upstairs to Drew.” I told her as I stood up and made my way upstairs. “You sure everything is fine?” She asked again before I reached the hallway. “Yeah.” I answered her and nodded. “It’s just something I have to show him.” I said and pointed towards Drew’s door. I rushed in and Drew wasn’t in his room, I knew he had to be in the study. “Gue

The next morning, Drew and I sat down to a delicious breakfast, and he mentioned his plan again. "You know, with Christmas just around the corner, I think it's time we started decorating the house," he said, his eyes sparkling with excitement.I smiled, feeling a surge of excitement. "That sounds like someone trying to have so much fun!" I exclaimed.Drew grinned. "I am! And I want you to come with me to the store to pick out some decorations. We can make a day of it."I nodded enthusiastically. "That sounds like a blast! Who else is coming with us?"Drew thought for a moment. "How about Zach and Catherine? We can make it a fun group outing."I clapped my hands together. "Yes, that sounds perfect! Let's go get them."We finished breakfast, and then Drew and I called out to Zach and Catherine who both seemed excited to join us on our decorating adventure. The four of us piled into Drew's car and headed to the store. As we drove, we chatted and laughed, enjoying each other's company.Wh

I woke up early, feeling a mix of emotions. Today was the day of the court case, and I was both nervous and determined.Drew was already up, getting ready for the day. He smiled at me as I got out of bed. "Good morning, beautiful," he said. "Are you ready for today?"I nodded, taking a deep breath. "Yes, I'm ready," I said.We got dressed and went downstairs, where my mom was waiting already. We had a quick breakfast, and then we headed out to the court. As we arrived at the court, I could feel my heart racing. I was scared, but I knew I had to be strong. We went inside and found our seats in the courtroom. Mark was already there, sitting with his lawyer. He looked smug and confident, but I knew that wasn't going to last. The judge came in, and the trial began. Henry presented our case, showing all the evidence we had gathered. Mark's lawyer tried to defend him, but it was clear that they didn't have a strong case. Then it was my turn to testify. I stood up, took a deep breath, and b

I decided to open the folder, my heart sinking Inside when I saw pictures of me dancing at the club, pictures of me picking up money from men. Drew smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "Put it away, I'll always stand up for you," he said. "No matter what. He was trying to manipulate me into forgiving him, but it's not going to work. He’s so much and should pay for his crimes. And here, I got the video,” He said, handling me a small flash drive. I did as he said, stuffing the folder in my handbag alongside the flash drive. My mom stood outside the car waiting for us, "What did he say?" she asked as soon as we got close, her voice trembling with anger. I shook my head, not wanting to relive the experience. "It doesn't matter, Mom. We're not going to let him get to us. We're going to focus on moving forward and making sure he pays for what he's done."My mom nodded, her eyes shining with tears. "I'm so proud of you, Alexa," she said. "You're so strong and brave. I'm sorry I wasn

The next morning we all headed to the precinct again, Drew wanted to speak with the lawyers concerning the video, my mom and I decided it was best if we also went along with him. Drew had asked us to sit in the lobby and wait for him while he looked for the lawyer and have a conversation with them, we agreed but few minutes sitting there, I got up and decided to do what has lingered on my mind for a long time. “I’ll be right back.” I told my mom as I got up from my seat. “You sure you don’t want me coming with you?” She asked me, concerned. “No, I won’t take long.” I told her and walked off quickly. I walked out of the lobby and into the hallway, I didn’t know the exact room where Mark is kept but I had overheard the lawyer telling Drew it was in room 12. I moved as fast as my legs could carry me down the hallway before anybody saw me or stopped me, I kept looking up at the numbers written on the door till I finally saw it. ‘Knock first! 12’ was boldly written on the door, I knew

I glanced up at the lawyer and he gave me a reassuring smile, encouraging me to speak. I smiled back at him and started to talk. “It was hell! I was still an infant when my mom had moved into his with me, I didn’t understand anything at that point but one thing I still remember was the fact that I never got any kind of fatherly love or affection from Mark. He was disgusted by everything I did and beat me up or push me at the slightest mistake I made. It got worst whenever he was drunk, he never wanted to see me happy or playing around with children my age. When I was 10, he dragged me into his room one night and raped me. His son Drew was my only companion in the house, my mom said nothing to the constant beating and abuse because she was scared. He forced me to work even before I got to the age of consent, his excuse being that I had to contribute my own share for staying in his house. The rape, torture and abuse continued whenever I was alone at home and Drew was no where to fight

The rest of the day went by with Drew and I talking, cuddling and just hanging out in his bed room. When it was time for dinner, we headed downstairs to eat with the whole family. After which we returned back to his room, watched some comedy and went to bed. I was extremely tired like the previous evening, though it was caused by different activities. It was easier for me to fall asleep and I lured Drew to sleep early as well. “The lawyer called, we should get ready to visit the police precinct.” Drew announced casually as soon as he walked out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist, his upper body still wet from the shower. I rubbed my eyes which were still full of sleep and yawned, stretching my body all over the bed. “Is there a problem?” I asked him. “Nothing much, I think your mom would be taken in for questioning today, you as well. I’ll go inform her later.” He said and walked into his closet. I just nodded, still lying down. “What time are we leaving?” I qu
