Chapter 8 - Mr. Redric's House

Here I am now, in a mansion like a palace. Just like my house, but this house is bigger and more luxurious.

This light blue house is dominated by paintings of historical buildings in Switzerland. Apparently the owner of this house is a history lover. in every corner there are flowers that adorn it to make the atmosphere look cool. There are also rows of roses filling the yard of this house besides large trees lined with dense green leaves. It seems that the owner of this house loves natural beauty.

There are several pavilions that line the right side of this house. Not too small, and looks luxurious too. All I know from David is that the pavilion is occupied by Mr. Redric's house assistants. Huh, how many people does this big house actually have? Why are there so many assistants? I could not understand how much the budget was spent on paying honoraria to these workers.

I forgot to tell you that the man who kidnapped me is actually Redric. He excused my ignorance because he really thought I was amnesic. and David, he is Redric's personal assistant. From the beginning I stepped foot in this house, he has greeted me with a smile and full of respect. I don't know why he behaved like that to me, even though I was nothing.

David and Redric seem like brothers. They seem very familiar. It was evident when we came to the house, after welcoming me he immediately tapped Redric's shoulder with joy. They immediately talked about a lot of things that I certainly didn't understand. I didn't even dare to say one word. I only occasionally smile or nod when the two men have something to say to me.

Earlier I was around this house escorted by David. She introduces all the places here. starting from the room, kitchen, special room, living room, living room, television room, and other rooms that I can't memorize because there are so many corners of the room in this house. However, due to my unstable condition, I get tired quickly if I keep walking, then now David and I are in the garden behind this house.

I really didn't expect there would be such a big swimming pool here. I smiled in amazement to see it. I used to swim with my parents. I really like swimming. David invited me to sit on a white chair by the pool. I just smiled and then obeyed his orders. He also did the same thing by sitting on the chair beside me. Jeez! What is wrong with me? Why am I being shy and feeling awkward like this? even though when I confronted Redric, it felt like my heart wanted to continue cursing. Ah, that man. Where is he going?

"David," I said, starting the conversation after David had been the only one babbling.

The man at Redric's age then turned to face me with a smile. I turned my gaze to the water in the pool that looked calm. The blue of the water made my interest to jump there even greater. Actually I couldn't help but plunged into the pool. but because my body is still weak, I only play with the water with my feet which fortunately can touch the water. Meanwhile, David was silent while occasionally answering my calls. Looks like he's run out of words because I've been responding to nothing but smiles and nods when he shows me around the house.

Still in the same position, playing with the water with my feet and looking at the blue water of this pool, I returned to continue my question to David. "Do you know where Redric went? Err— Mr. Redric I mean."

Huft! Why can't my mouth be compromised? why do I call the name of the master of this house by name only? Huh, I might get scolded by David for being considered rude.

"Hahaha."

Why is he laughing? Is there something wrong with my question? Then I glanced at David who was still laughing while holding his stomach. while I looked at David in confusion.

"How dare you call Mr. Redric only by name. Hahaha."

Jeez! Is he actually in a trance or what? He scolded me but also laughed at me? I got scared. Afraid that David is a mentally ill person. I didn't know what to call Redric Mr. I never even knew that man before. Because for me he is a crazy person who for the past few days has been bothering and considering me as his lover. I don't know if in fact he is the Grand Lord who owns a house like a palace in the city of Brienz.

"Err — I'm sorry, David. I didn't mean it," I said carefully. Afraid if I say wrong again.

David adjusted his position to face me. this time the laughter had completely stopped.

"Take it easy, I understand that, miss. I laughed because I saw the look on your face that suddenly looked like someone who was afraid when you spoke earlier. Hahaha. You are nonsense."

I can only scratch my head that doesn't itch, and try to laugh like David.

"David, you haven't answered my question," I said reminding David. My thoughts are currently on Redric. after Redric had forced me to go home with various reasons, and after he told David to take care of all the things I need in this house, he just left without saying goodbye. he left after receiving a call, and at that very moment he immediately rushed outside and ran with his car somewhere.

I don't really care if he wants to go anywhere. I just feel like Redric dumped me in this mansion. honestly I'm happy to be separated from the house of hell with my brothers, but I can not live in this big house alone. The servants will only be there when I need them right?

Eh, what? What am I thinking? Redric dumped me? Hey, he just left, and I already assumed that he left me? Ish, you are ridiculous Shin!

"Mr. Redric is on business, Miss. You take it easy. Just been left for a moment, do you miss again?" David chuckled.

Huh. Who would ever miss a lunatic like Redric? Rather, I should feel happy to be separated from that guy, right?

I didn't reply to what David said. I'm busy with my thoughts. thoughts about my house, my brothers, Aunt Sherina, Aunt Thaka, Uncle Ferdian, Chika and Lucky. How are things at home without me? Will they be happy or worried? Ah, looks like the second option is more certain. They must be celebrating my leaving home. honestly my heart feels sore at the thought.

Then there is a middle aged woman approaching us. Looks like he's one of the assistants of this house.

"Excuse me, Miss. Tuan Besar told me to take you to the room. He said you should not be tired," said the woman, looking down.

Now I feel like a queen who is respected by people. Because Redric is now feeling all this luxury and honor. I didn't know whether to be happy or even sad. This is not true! Who ought to experience all this luxury, affection, care and honor is Shireen. Not me. Not Shin.

Before I did what the woman said, I glanced first at David, and he nodded with a smile, indicating that I really should follow what the middle-aged woman said.

I followed the woman's steps slowly. It's true what the doctor said, I can't be too tired. I feel a little dizzy. Apparently that woman was going to take me to the 2nd floor. Gosh ... even when I saw the large number of stairs I was nauseous. Looks like my body won't be strong. Oh God, how about this?

My steps suddenly stopped and my hands pressed the head that seemed to be spinning. My eyes are closed. Somehow this feeling of dizziness that quickly struck again. Even though I just came back from the hospital and took some medicine — Redric made me take it when I was in the hospital. even though I told you that I don't like drugs.

"Hey, Miss, are you okay?" The woman asked after seeing me not following her steps.

"No. I'm not okay." I replied, my eyes still closed in pain.

Then suddenly my body seemed to float, as if someone was lifting. Hmm, but why does this feel real? Then slowly I opened my eyes and ....

Oh no! There was someone carrying me and then hastily climbed the stairs. and I was more surprised when I found out who the person carrying me was.

Redric!
