SOPHIA'S POV

However, the taunting, smug smirk on my face cleared up when Adrien smirked back before releasing me so that I scrambled away from them on the ground, my eyes narrowed In confusion.

"You are going to regret running away, Sophia." His voice was drawled with amusement. He sounded like he had just woken up. Fuck, he was threatening me and all I could think of was how attractive his voice was.

I was pretty sure I was some masochist, but I guess I would never find out because apparently, my mates couldn't even stand the sight of me, not to talk of thinking of even getting intimate with me.

That makes four of us then.

"Get up." Lucas coldly ordered and with a grumbling mumur, I force myself to stand up, knowing it was no use refuting their orders but follow them like a lamb they thought I was.

Just when I was steadying myself on my legs, Adrien nudged me from behind, away from them, and I almost staggered face first to the floor.

"There's no way I'm carrying her back. She's filthy." I hear Adrien remark and I scoff at the disrespect. Yes I knew I stunk since I hadn't had a bath for a week now and hadn't even had a change of clothes, but did they really have to be blunt?

Oh yeah. I forgot I had jerks for mates.

"I'm not touching her either." Adam's cold voice was next and I rolled my eyes.

"For the love of..." I stop before turning to glare at them, lifting my head to glare at up at their surprisingly hot, gorgeous faces which were in great contrast to their dark, twisted attitudes. "If you lot didn't intend to touch me, why bother coming. Just let me go."

"Go?" The three men chuckled darkly, and I felt like a small little girl forced to crouch at one corner while being stared down by three mean giants.

Adrien suddenly waved his arm over the place, and I follow his gesture to the demolished buildings, the dark clouds, the uneasy silence and emptiness.

"Go where?" He snickered. "It's not like you have a home anymore. We took all that away from you, remember? Look around Sophia.. your people have gone into hiding like the pathetic low life cowards they've always been."

Every word of his was like a dagger to my chest, and I just stared into space, pretending like he hadn't said a word.

From the corner of my eyes, Lucas swished the tip of fingers to the side, and a portal was created.

I turned to the sky blue colored whirlpool, my eyes squinted at the bright color which hurt them.

"See you on the other side." Lucas murmured to his brothers before he suddenly pushed me from behind, and with a scream I dropped through a portal which sucked me right in before I heard Lucas jump after me.

I grunted as I fell through the other portal and landed on cold hard tiles. Holding my still bleeding forehead, I sat up on the floor before staring around, ignoring Lucas who joined me in the room.

I was in my cell, back at the werewolf territory. This was the first place I was brought to when I was newly captured by the werewolves before the Alphas found out I was their mate.

Things didn't get any better from there, but at least I got fed once or twice when they needed to replenish my blood. And I also got my own room.

But why was I back in the cell? It was colder than before, and I unknowingly dragged my knees up to my chin before folding my arms, shivering slightly.

"You'll be staying here for now" Lucas's voice was emotionless as he materialized out of the cell to stand Infront of the gates, locking me in with a giant padlock.

"Maybe a few days without food and water would give you some time to think about what you've done."

Tears in my eyes, I stared at him furiously, wondering if he was just bluntly cruel or just daft.

I hadn't eaten for a week straight, except some rotten fruits which I had found dying beside old trees. Not a drop of water had touched my tongue, and now my mates were subjecting me to more days without food nor water?

Great. Just great. Fantastic. Bloody fantastic.

He was just about to leave while I bore holes through his back with my eyes before I said.

"Go fuck yourself Lucas..."

He froze in his footsteps before turning to me with those incredible blue-green eyes of his that held mine captive for a few seconds before he smirked ruefully.

"Why will I? When I can fuck as many women as I want."

I gritted my teeth in anger and rage, giving him the exact expression he wanted from me, because his smile grew wider the next second before he leaves me sitting there in my worn out clothes, mud drying off on my skin as I tried to warm myself up my rubbing my palms together.

My powers were so weak, I could only form a measley heat between my palms before placing them against my cheek to cool off.

One hour later, I was walking around the cell, bored as hell, not knowing what to do but walk aimlessly around, exercising my legs from having to sit down for so long.

Did those assholes think keeping me locked up here without food or water for another few days would make me sober and feel sorry for what I've done?

Hell no!

I was going to escape again, and this time, I'll make sure they never find me- not until I find the blue ruby stone, and I can finally kill them off to my heart's content.

Few hours later, I was dozing off at one corner of the cell room when the metal door to the dungeons creaked open, and my eyes groggily opened to make out a huge frame walking towards my cell.

I recognized the person as one of the pack warriors around who was supposedly guarding the dungeon gates since I wasn't the only one locked up in here.

He had a bowl in his hand, and I grew a bit apprehensive as he unlocked my gate, wondering what he was up to.

Suddenly, he slides the bowl across the room towards me and I glance down with a sneer at the bowl of cold, probably a day old soup sitting right Infront of me.

"Eat up. Alpha's orders." He grumbled.

I grunt before turning away from the meal like the sight of it hurt my eyes, and it truly did. Did they expect me to eat this shit? And still expect to find me in perfect condition when they wanted to sink their canniness and fangs into my skin to draw blood?

"Alpha's orders my asshole! He can come drink out of this bowl and see how it feels like to be treated like a mutt. Oh wait," I gasp in shock pretentiously, my hand over my mouth before I drop it back down with a snicker "I forgot he's one. He just hasn't realized it yet."
