Chapter 70: Fearful Eyes

Ryker's POV

As the first rays of the sun seeped into the window, I hated the feeling that clutched my chest.

It was morning and that meant, it wouldn't be long before Willow called Selena to come get Ella.

My wolf still found the idea too hard to swallow but I was stuck in a dangerous point and I didn't know what to do.

For starters, I didn't trust Selena, the crystal pack princess. The last time she came to my place, she had mentioned that Ella was presumed dead but if I followed what Willow was telling me —and what Ella had confessed to— Ella had been in Crystal Pack all along...

But Selena had said they didn't know her whereabouts and that her uncle was worried sick and that was why they needed Willow to go back with her so she could speak to him.

Yet Ella surfaced from there with a pregnancy that was either mine or for some guy in Crystal pack...

The story wasn't adding up and I didn't feel good about it.
