Chapter 78: Sucking the Poison

Ryker’s POV

The ringing in my head resumed and the world turned dark.

I could hear the healers explaining what this solution implied, but I couldn’t bring myself to respond. It felt like my body was divided into two.

A part was frozen with shock while another part was present and acting without rationality, and a huge part of motor senses went to the part that was frozen.

“…taking the poison out is very risky. There are a lot of conditions that might make it fail. If she doesn’t want you, if her wolf is rejecting you, and if you were responsible for the injury, the solution will not work…” the first healer listed out and my eyes followed the movements of his fingers as he explained.
