Gab’s POV

I watched Skye walk away from the truck I was driving. She said she would wave at me as a sign that I should go to her side. I stepped out of the vehicle to help Marco do the task of collecting the garbage since we were pretending to be but we were actually supposed to do the job the original workers should do so they won’t get into trouble if the neighborhood complains about their performance. It was an exclusive subdivision, and the residents here were not to be taken lightly. If we might get into trouble if they demand for an investigation and they get to connect the dots to point at us.

I kept my eyes observing Skye’s direction and when I did see her raise a hand, I briskly walk to her side.

“Yup?” I casually asked as I approached her with George Nahart not far from her spot.

Skye raised a cup and gestured as if she was asking if I wanted a drink as well.
