5. Where is the bride?

'There is a way you can get my mom's property' Xavier was sure of the plan. His words made Ron smile. Is there even a chance for his fortune? 

"But 25% is mine" He knew to deal with profit alone.

"25% plus my recommendation for your club membership to my VIP members" That's a big deal for Xavier. He smiled sheepishly. As for Ron, the value of shares belonging to Clara is huge to bet on them. Now he could grab that fortune for himself. So he is willing to do anything. 

"In the will, it's mentioned that when Clara turns 23, she will be the only guardian of all the properties. If she is married, it will be inherited by Hasley's kids" The moment he spoke, Ron widened his eyes in surprise. Damn, how can fortune knock on his door like this?

"Paxton?" Ron asked, shocked. He knew what he should do after that. So, indirectly Ron would be the guardian as Paxton is a minor. So all he should do is make Clara marry. 

"Your both sisters are my lucky charm. '' Ron speaks shamelessly. Xavier didn't like the conversation. Ron maintained his affair with Hasley undercover till they discovered Hasley's pregnancy. 

Stella was devastated and stopped talking with Hasley. But soon, Stella became sick. Hasley couldn't survive the complicated pregnancy as she lost her life once she gave birth to Paxton. Stella took Paxton with her as she couldn't see her sister's kid as an orphan. 

Stella's mom hated Ron all her life. He has destroyed both of her daughters' lives. She wrote her will thinking that Ron would never get benefitted from them. 

It was one of the few reasons for the hatred of Clara for her father all her life.

Ron looked at his daughter, Elsa. She was getting ready with a bright smile. Should he kidnap her so that he could make Clara marry Alex? The thought was overwhelming. He could get the property. He knew that Clara would be happy with Alex. As for Elsa, he knew very well how she likes to fluctuate often. If it's Alex today, it will be Aron tomorrow. 

"Just make sure no one doubts us," Ron told Xavier, that was a partner in crime in everything. Indeed, money makes a person pure evil. 

Ron has no conscience at all. He cares about money and status alone. If it means hurting his daughter in this process, he doesn't mind.

Sandy Williams entered the church and smirked at the arrangements. 

"Is he enjoying himself without me? I am back, and he should pay back," Sandy mumbled as he sat in the front row with the only motive to get noticed by Alex and Rose especially. 

Roselyn saw Sandy and was froze to her spot.

Did he come here in real?

Rose didnt blink away her tears. She clutched the table for support.

"Hi darling," Sandy mouthed with a wink as a girl beside him started peppering kisses over his earlobe. Rose closed her eyes in reflex as tears rolled down her cheeks. Why does he have to affect her? She started trembling as Frank came running to her side.

"Princess. Don't be. You are my strong girl. No one would affect you," Frank mumbled as he hugged her and glared at Sandy to bury him alive. 

"Listen, don't cry. If Alex sees this, he will stop this marriage," Frank spoke as Rose shifted her gaze to her father. That's when she realized she was there to attend Alex's marriage. 

Rose pinched herself hard to remind her nothing would hurt her now. She smiled brightly as tears in her eyes were evident. She walked towards Sandy straight. He could feel his heart racing with her presence.

"Welcome to the city," Rose spoke as she served him the welcome drink.

"Thought you have left the city forever. Guess you have gathered enough courage to face everyone" Rose smiled again as Sandy's eyes turned cold. Is this girl provoking him?

"I heard you all are enjoying it without me. So I am here to pay back everything," Sandy replied with a wink.

"Try till you succeed," Rose mumbled and left the place.

"Of course, I will try. But I am not sure if I will be able to break your level." Sandy whispered that was not audible to anyone but him.

"Boss, Madame Elsa is not here," Mac gave the message as Alex stood there rooted. Is it repeating? He felt as if the people were gossiping and laughing at him. He looked around to see his father but found no one familiar till his eyes met with Sandy. His orbs turned pale as he looked at him.

Why did he come here after five long years? Why the hell did he have to meet him that day? 

Sandy's presence provoked Alex to do every sinful thing. He doesn't care what is right and what is wrong. He doesn't care if he hurts anyone in this process. All he knew was he wouldn't leave the place without marrying. 

"Convey the message to Taylor that they get the underlying threat," Alex was looking at Sandy all the while.

Mac widened his eyes when Alex told him his message. Alex is not only his boss but his buddy too. He is not that kind to do this. It's not any series or novels to make this demand. But Mac obeyed his order as he left to rely on the message.

"She left this letter," Bella cried as she trembled with the anger of Ron alone. He would burn her alive if anything went wrong. 

Ron stood there, hiding his smile. Xavier is a little smarter than he expected. He even left a letter there written by Elsa. 

"You must be grooming yourself till your daughter runs away?" Ron walked dangerously close to Bella, and the latter cried more with his words. The room was silent, as no one noticed Clara, who sat in a corner as if she had no connection with this family. 

"For me, my reputation comes first. So I have no option" Ron walked fast toward Clara. He has to order Clara to marry him. Of course, who would deny his words in his house?

"Clara, I have never asked you for anything." Ron tried to flatter her with little sympathy. Clara flatters like her mother if Ron uses his acting skill. At least, that's what he thought. But the reply he got made his blood stop.

"Neither I," Clara replied, staring straight into his eyes, and that was the first time she ever spoke to him. Did he know that she is not what he thinks her to be?

"Today, it is about our reputation." Ron tried to butter his words.

"It doesn't concern me with anything. I hope you don't waste your time begging me to marry anyone" Clara is one intelligent lady, and Ron was shocked to see her clarity. She is not the one to get fooled by anyone. Did he make a wrong calculation? 

"Let me be clear. Your threat, your sentiment, and even your love, nothing would make me agree to this. I will never marry anyone" Clara's words shook Ron. He didn't expect her to be like this. He never thought she would even reply to him in anything, let alone this attitude. 

Mac entered the room, and the atmosphere thickened. The aura turned cold with Mac's entry.

"Boss asked me to deliver a message," Mac broke the news as Ron stiffened in his position. He knew that whatever he told, it won't please them. Something they would like. How can his plan backfire like this?

"Elsa is not the only daughter you have," Mac delivered the words as spoken by Alex. Of course, Ron can get the chillness behind the words. The threats behind his words were loud and clear. Ron got scared all of a sudden. He can't sacrifice his hard-earned power with this small mistake.

Ron and Bella turned to Clara's side and stood there without expression. 

"Even I am not the only daughter you have," Mac widened his eyes at Clara's words. She can't be so evil to ask them to consider Alina, their younger daughter, who is barely 18. Age is not a matter. But how can she ask them to consider Alina when she is the eldest among all? 

Her expression gave a warning. Whatever may happen, she would never agree to this. Ron walked to the backside, where he expected Xavier.

"Let's pause the plan now," Ron was damn scared of messing with Alexander.

"Where is Elsa?" Ron asked as Xavier stood there with no movement.

"Your daughter ran away for real before we could kidnap her" The moment Xavier told the news, the colour of Ron's face turned pale. Damn, what will happen now? Should he beg Clara? She will never agree to it. The way she spoke was evident that nothing could change her heart. Should he consider Alina now? She is too small. But he has no options.
