I remember that I had fallen asleep while crying after writing a little bit of my plan for running away.

I woke up to see that Mrs.Hanzah was not there to get me ready but a few other of my lady servants were.

One of them was coming closer to me as her dress was quite stiff, not moving an inch from the fast wind that was passing through from the open windows of mine. She had a white magnificent gown of mine in her hands which she put down on the bed. "Princess Arah, the others will lead you to the bath, please follow them, your highness."

I saw one of the other maids coming closer to me and making hand gestures for me to follow them.

I got towards the with one of the maids following behind.

As I put one of my feet inside of the warm and welcoming water filled with the petals of the beloved and most beautiful rose.

I sometimes wonder why it has so much love being given to it. It is so imperfect, yet that is its perfection just like all of us--We are perfect and one because of the imperfections of us. I also wonder why a rose just steals my heart every time I look at it--it's just so magnificent. Is it because of the color that it possesses or because of the way it possesses the frail heart of mine?

So melted in my thoughts that I was, I didn't realize that I had to get out of the bath to get ready.

The dress looked so formal and was looking like it would be used for a big event, it probably would be but I didn't know for what it would be.

I got out of the baths to see my fingers all crinkly-- I had been inside of the bath for a long time with my thoughts drowning me inside of them.

In the corner of my eye, I saw the maid bringing the corset closer to me. She was so surprised to see my naked body yet she tried to hide it--"was there something wrong with it?", I thought.

She tied the corset on really tight--to the point where an accidental scream passed by from my lips.

She put the gown on me and it looked like a wedding gown--Oh no--but maybe I was overthinking?

I saw the last maid bringing a veil and that was when I realized something and wanted that maid to be away from me but she just kept coming closer and closer.

"DON'T COME CLOSER TO ME!"

This was too much to take in as I started to run away but the maids just held me in one place--were they too strong or was I just too frail and weak? But that wasn't necessary, all I wanted to do now was to go away from these people.

"I am your princess and I command you to let me go.", I Spoke in a firm tone, hoping they would maybe let me go. I saw that the maids had some kind of guilt present in their eyes as if they were asked to do this. "I am terribly sorry, your highness but we are just following orders. All I want to do is meet my family again."

All of the hope I had now was to scream on top of my lungs and say--"MOTHER, FATHER!"

They came in a few minutes later. I knew that they didn't hear my call but just came because maybe they knew I'd get ready until now.

I saw father gesturing the maids to let go of me as they did and I immediately ran into my mother's embrace without any doubt that she'll decline, and she didn't but she just stood there, frozen and not at all replying to my hug.

I stopped hugging her as I asked with clear confusion and devastation written in my eyes, "Father, why am I dressed like this?", to which he replied with, "You are getting married to Prince Egon today."

I was beyond shocked.

First the planning of the marriage without my permission and now the event of the wedding itself?

What more was to be there ready to be uncovered?

I saw father dragging me out of my room and to the place that the event was going to be held. I tried my best to get out of his hold but he wasn't known as the strongest king before only for nothing. I knew from the start it wouldn't be a huge wedding but I didn't think even for a while it would be in the castle--This was infuriating!

All I wanted to do now was to kill myself but I still wanted to find the person God has arranged for me.

I was in the hall and the wedding would be taking place soon. I had excused myself to visit the restroom but I changed my way and then I went into the maids' room.

I had an excellent plan in mind.

I felt so sad to see our maid's room be so disgusting--I almost vomited but before doing so, I went towards the closet and took out one of their outfits. I took everything off of myself, except the underwear, and slid the maid's gown on myself. I saw that there was a scissor nearby as I cut my wedding gown into shreds and placed it somewhere that no one would notice.

There was a veil designed for maids to wear on special occasions like today--this was perfect. Fate was finally falling into place.

The veil would cover almost all of your face. I put the veil on and hurried outside.

The maids were allowed to leave only with the uniform on for buying the materials for the dresses of the princess so I knew that this would make myself leaving the castle extremely easier.

I went to the guard as he asked me what I was going outside for and I gladly told him that it was for the princess's clothes.

I left out of the castle to see a world beyond my imagination--Everything was just so beautiful!

I walked my way towards the town and looked at the magnificent shops with clothing and all--this was too exciting for me but I had to make my run as the castle was soon going to find out that I have run away.

And it was as if God had listened to me and answered my question as I heard many guards and knights of the castle coming in to announce the princess's runaway and that was when my heart almost stopped.

I did not know how much that the kingdom had loved me because, at that time, the town was in havoc. I saw the elders, the ones in their early youth start to cry away and it truly broke my heart into pieces--I was devastated.

I saw all of the guards hurrying to take all of the maids in the town back to the castle, huh I wonder why?--Probably to question them but I was in the maid's clothing so I had to change as quickly as possible.

I ran my way inside a shop and ask for any clothes that I would gladly pay for.

I saw the woman bring a small gown to me as I rushed to wear it in the changing room. I handed the money to her but right now, I needed to cover my face and so, I went towards the woman. "Madam, do you have anything to cover the face?"

I saw her staring at me as if she were admiring me. "Oh my, why would you need to cover that pretty little face of yours--?" I cut her sentence short as I said, "My family is extremely religious and they are looking for me. I do not want them to see me in such a shameless attire."

"Ah, let me go bring it to you." I saw her going to the closet to bring out a veil-like thing as she placed it on my face in order to cover it.

As soon as she did I gave her the money and hurried outside to find a carriage. I saw an old man with his carriage as I walked towards him and plopped down on the seat.

"Sir, please take me to the nearest kingdom."

"You want to go to Dajoah?"

The man asked clearly confused.

I was shocked to hear that name but I knew that my family wouldn't come looking for me there.

"Yes, gentleman. I am looking for my daughter, she lives there." I quickly made up an excuse so he wouldn't be suspicious.

I handed him the money as his horse started to walk, but I wanted to go faster.

"My daughter is highly injured, please go faster.", I said.

His horses were old but they did their best to run, though it was still slow--there was still an improvement. In the corner of my eye, I saw the man urging himself to say something to me as I let curiosity take the best of me. "Is there something you would like to say?"

"Ah, yes. It is going to be a long way till we get to your desired destination, so, you could sleep till then if you'd like."

A rush of relief washed over me as I was tired from the great runaway.

I was imagining my mother is thinking about me and how worried she would be--it broke my heart.

Thinking about my mother's thoughts, I did not realize when I had fallen deep into the embrace of heavy slumber.
