Chapter Eighty Two

He slapped her ass hard and she whirled around to slap him back but he had already left her to go and get ready himself, she was seething but had little choice when the Council called you obeyed. He instructed as the Mafia guards surrounded them,

One of them instructed but they were left with little choice as they were flanked by six of them and frogmarched into the huge ballroom, it was packed by all the Dons and their ‘Families’. On a dais at one side of the room, a long table was set and the Mafia Elite Council Members sat in a row, all seven of them. Romero's heart sank, all of them, that did not bode well for their verdict he gripped Juliette’s hand tightly and she let out a startled gasp,

‘Romero, mi stai facendo del male.’ [Romero you are hurting me.]

She hissed at him trying to pull her hand free,

‘Smettila piccola tigre, dobbiamo sembrare una coppia o ci distruggeranno.’ [Stop it little tigress, we  must look like a couple or they will destroy us.]
