CHAPTER 7

KRISTINA'S POV

The footsteps grew louder and soon stopped in front of us. The two silhouettes appeared in front of us, but we couldn't see their faces clearly. It's almost impossible to recognize anyone if you don't actually know them.

All we could see were two figures. Two tall slender figures which stood side by side. One was wearing black clothing and the other wearing white. Even though it's difficult to distinguish one person from the other.

I could tell that the woman in white had blonde curls and a slim figure. The man next to her had short dark hair with a buzz cut and wore black attire as well.

The two humans continued walking ahead until they disappeared into the trees. Only after a few moments did Nathan relax and turned to face me.

"It seems that we're safe now. Thanks for helping me back then," he said with a relieved tone in his voice. "Are you okay?"
