CHAPTER XXIII: The Antidote's Copy

In the middle of the night Dr. Smith can’t sleep. Thoughts and memories from the past are hunting him. He is sitting at his desk, staring at every paper that could fix the whole world. The puzzle is still unsolved. He got the antidote, but how can he save the world if the antidote cannot consume by many. Lives are what matter most here. His mind is overflowing with information and memories that he can’t let go. Memories and people that makes him continue to fight, even if he is close to giving up. He is wondering what would be his life if things didn’t go this way. Memory flashes in his mind:

    The outside of the laboratory is full of a flock of people, screaming in joy and dancing and jumping happily. Finally, they are cured.
