Sarah and Grace, together with the Scientist, roam and explore the vast science complex. It was full of laboratory apparatuses that are not sure if they are still working or not. Curtains and chairs were both covered in thick dust. The room was dirty, but it had electric power. It must have been solar power. It is unlikely that the humanoids did not find the place useful for them. They are in the middle of the room, and up above is an open view of the clear sky.
Grace looked up and wondered, "what is happening above us? Is there someone that got there already?" Sarah just tucked her shirt into her skinny jeans and shuddered, "if there is no one there, we have to be the first. We need to find a cure. Finding it means saving more, and if others become healthy and strong, then perhaps we could end this slavery."
They both looked into their team, their tired faces yet still full of hope despite the humanoids taking control of everything. Here they are, alive and thinking of a way to escape this madness. Sarah looked up again into the sky "it is going to be hard to steal a spaceship. Humanoids are not dumb. They are strong and unlucky and clever. We need to prepare in any way" Knowing that they don't have all the time, they decided to form two groups, Grace and the others would look for ways to make a cure, and Sarah, along with the rest, would find the spaceship.
Grace and her team explored the area. All of the rooms look the same. But one caught their attention—the empty space.
It doesn't have anything inside. Nothing. They decided to camp here and stored every ingredient they could find- anything that would be useful.
Grace is laying the basket full of empty vials on a push card. "Guys, anything is better than nothing. We have to be resourceful. We also have to be safe, at least until Sarah comes back. We can't let her and the others worry."
Dr. Scientist is blue suggesting, "At least we have to be in pairs. Nobody is allowed to roam alone. I also found a talkie walkie upstairs. It does not work. But we could make a battery."
"We need to find two different types of metal, some copper wires, and a conductive material. And then we'll try it if it works." Said the most in-style Scientist inside the room. Not only does she look gorgeous in her scarf, but her heels make the rest think if a virus and slavery are going in around them because she looks like there is nothing wrong going on around.
Grace "That is good but let us not use it yet. It is better to be safe. We'll only use it during an emergency. Humanoids who have those might hear us too".
Some of them went and washed the vials. Some draped it clean while some had put some materials inside it—all of the materials that would be useful were stored in the empty room. They got so busy. Luckily they found some frozen noodles in one of the offices. It was inside the fridge. It was not enough for them, so they just shared it. They were thinking not to eat it yet, but they had no choice but to eat since they were tired and starving.
While they are together, they exchange comments on what they think about the place and make a list of what they got so far. They got nothing special, just useful tools and kinds of stuff, better than nothing. They were walking into the room when suddenly they noticed something on the floor. It feels empty. Which means there could be another room beneath them.
The Pursuit
Sarah went ahead with all her companions. They thought that they could not find a spaceship in the science complex. So they all decided to look into the nearby places. Save survivors they might find in the way that is not yet getting captured by the humanoids.
They prepared themselves with weapons, guns, loads, and at least a few grenades they got when they escaped. Getting too far is dangerous. They will look near the complex. It is the safest place they have now.
Time is ticking, and they still have no luck finding a spaceship. While on a break, Sarah decided to go to the nearby river and fetch some water. The water was cold, and her clothes were not getting any cleaner. So she decided to go back to the group and encourage them to clean themselves for just 5 minutes. They took a bath and hung some of their clothes in the shrubs.
"Where are we going to look for next?"
"We tried to look anywhere, but there was no luck. Maybe we have to go farther."
"No. We can't risk it. We have no plan yet?"
"If we got caught now, who knows? There won't be any chance left for us?"
Sarah was listening to her companions as she thought about where they could be hiding other spaceships. If they cannot steal one from a humanoid, they may find a place where they hide one—a spare spaceship.
Back when they were spaceship workers, two things they know for sure about the spaceship. First, humanoids can drive them. Two, they keep them because somehow being in the air makes them dizzy, which puts them at a disadvantage. They can chase but not that fast.
People do not get that weak in the air. Where could we possibly get one? She keeps on thinking that there is no spaceship on the science complex, and there is nothing even here near the river.
Caves do not have them either, and if they went farther, their mission might just come to an end. And nobody wants that to happen.
"Sarah, clothes are all dry now. Good thing the sun is shining."
"Come now, we have just one area to look for, and after that, we'll come back with the rest."
"Let us just pray we will find something there. I don't want the others to get sad."
The team was walking to their final destination. Sadly for them, they were not able to encounter any survivors, as many were dead. Either they died overworked from being a slave, or they died because of the disease. Both are unfortunate events.
The place was full of trees. Sadly, other humans who ceased to live cannot see and praise this beauty of nature anymore. They looked deeper into the place. They do not forget to look back and check whether the science complex is still in sight.
There is not anything. The ground does not have any openings. And if there is an opening, it is just a sewer. From which there are no rats crawling anymore.
"Maybe humanoids killed the rats too."
"Or maybe they died of hunger without our leftovers that feed them."
"Look, I think this extends from the Science Complex? We have not checked its basement. Maybe Grace and the others had to check it by now."
They got into the end, where it looks like it is way to the science museum. But the door won't open.
Sarah "It looks like we can only open this door from the inside. I think it is much better if we check it from there. Besides, the air here is getting damp, and it's hot as well."
As they were to climb back up, Sarah noticed something in her peripheral vision. The thing sits there on the corner, though it is placed in a blindspot angle that you would not notice at all. But she was an ex-spaceship worker, so she knows it- every angle of it. A spaceship battery. Right at the very corner.
She was stunned at what she was seeing. "Are you guys seeing what I am seeing?" They all look from where she is looking. "Is that a box?" They all went near it. And disappointment was seen on their faces.
Sarah exclaimed. "Are you guys not happy? We found a spaceship battery, a spaceship although super high-tech would not function without it!"
"Yes, Sarah, you are right. But where is the spaceship?"
"Have you forgotten? The spaceship will only fly if there are two of that battery? Where is its pair? "
"We walk so far, and what we only got is a pair of batteries? You think the others would be happy?"
They climb up, and one Scientist lends a hand to Sarah to carry the battery. They brought it as they were walking back to the science center.
Meanwhile, Grace and the others could not find a way to enter the empty room below them. They search for secret doors in the other rooms, but they cannot find one to their luck.
As they all rested back in the room, the Scientist in heels notices a space on the floor. Her heels fit the gap. She crouches to the floor and finds a tiny hole that forms a square. "Guys, I might have found the way down."
"We can't open it. What if there is a humanoid inside?"
"We have to. It may have what we need to make a cure." Said Grace.
They opened it, and one went inside to check with a flashlight in hand. The space was dark, but it was spacious. He hurried back upstairs and told the group his observation.
Sarah and the Scientist that was with her holding the battery got behind the group. The others looked like they arrived at the science complex. They did not mind the distance between as they were just going to the same destination.
Sarah is feeling restless. Somehow she has this feeling that someone is looking at her. Someone is watching from afar. But every time, she would look behind them. There is not anyone. She thought the situation made her paranoid.
They rested and stopped for a while. They looked behind, and they saw a humanoid in their midst. It was about to say something, but they hurried ahead and ran as fast as they could.
The Humanoid is not running for them. But they are still clearly being followed because it is walking in their direction.
They got inside the science complex. It does not take them too long to see the others and go in their direction. Sarah did not think that she was putting the others in danger. And it was too late now.
"Why do you look so pale?" Said the other one that was with her group earlier.
Sarah and the Scientist were panting as they kept on looking at their backs.
"Someone . . . "
"Humanoid .. . "
Grace was so confused. "What?"
And then they realized, "A humanoid followed you?"
Their eyes went big, and their mouths opened.
Suddenly there's a glass that broke not far from where they are. They all panicked.
Dr. Scientist in blue suggested, "I think we should all hide below."
They did not have enough time to argue so they did what he suggested.
The place was still dark, and if there was some switch, they still could not find them. They did not yet have time to explore the area.
"What if there's a humanoid here?"
"shhh, stop speaking. They might hear us."
After some time, maybe hours, they thought they lost the humanoids. That perhaps it looked somewhere else. So they relaxed a little.
"We should now get upstairs," said Sarah
"No, it is still too soon for that, and how could you let yourself get followed?"
"I don't know where it came from. It just popped out from nowhere. But one thing does not leave my mind. Why did the humanoids not shoot us? "
"And why did you not shoot it?"
"I don't know, Grace. It just looks different. Like not at all harmful."
"Not at all harmful? Are you crazy?! They are the reason why we are in this situation, or are you forgetting that?"
While Grace and Sarah are talking, the others try to open the latch.
"Guys, we could not open it."
"What?"
"Maybe it could only be open from the outside?"
They kept on opening and bumping the door. But it won't budge.
"Stop bumping it. The Humanoid might hear it, and it will expose our location." Grace was pissed.
"Wait a minute. Earlier, we found a door in the sewer that may be connected to this room, but somehow the door can not be opened from the outside. Are you saying we are in the same situation as before? Only now we are locked in here?." Sarah was now near shouting.
"What do you mean sewer? And what is it that you have with you? Is that what I think it is?" Grace is eyeing the battery.
"Yes, Grace, it is a spaceship battery. Now what we are missing is the other battery and a spaceship, which brings us to the possibility that it is near. We just have to double-check the places we've been to, and maybe we will find it. We need to go outside," Sarah said while clutching her fist.
"Okay, but if we can't go up, perhaps we could find the door you found in the sewer and get outside from there."
They Got Caught
They all agreed and walked more profound into the room, holding their dim flashlights.
As they are walking, Sarah feels like someone is watching again. And she was right as she looked back a Humanoid was at their back. Grace instantly let a bullet out of her gun, and suddenly the others went shouting and looked for cover. Sarah let a shot out of her rifle too, but the Humanoid would not attack. It would shield itself from the bullets while still advancing.
"Guys, I see the door!!"
"Hurry and open it. We'll hold it until we lock the door using whatever we may find there when we get outside. Go. Go"
They all hurried to the door while carrying their belongings and the other materials they found. While Sarah and Grace face the humanoids, walking backward, making sure they won't slip their defense if it attacks them.
The Scientist opened the door. And alas, Another Humanoid greeted them. It was waiting for them, outside the door.
Not only one but two humanoids are now in their midst. Both of them are getting near them, pinning them. They are all scared that they thought there is no more hope left for them. They have guns in their hands, but somehow their hands would not move anymore.
They were stunned.
The Humanoid looked like it would attack as it leaned its hands in the air and into the wall. The whole place lit up. And behind them, a spaceship that is missing another battery.
Since Grace and Sarah had managed to escape from the hands of the humanoids, they formed a group of scientists to find the cure for the disease killing hundreds of people. The disease that already killed hundreds of human is almost impossible to cure. Fortunately, the group of professionals are trained and equipped with knowledge to formulate an idea to solve the problem. Since the attack of the humanoids to Earth started, Sarah and Grace considered humanoids as their mortal enemies. Unexpectedly, two of the humanoids are willing to help them to go back to space. Both parties have agreed to helping each other find the solution to the disease. “Okay, so this will be our agreement. We will allow both of you to accompany us to space in one condition: you will protect us from other humanoids out there at all cost. You should help us find a spacecraft to make our plan successful.” – Grace. “First
Now that the serum has been found and the scientists have been busy producing the serum, everyone is getting excited about when the serum will be sent to Earth to heal the other humans and humanoids that have been affected. The serum has been placed in vials ready for transport. All they need to do now is to send the serum to Earth. "Everything is in our hands," says Grace. How are they going to send it to Earth so that they will get the serum? The scientists wanted to invent another kind of spaceship that can be a carrier for the vials. They are thinking about what kind of design it should be and what kind of features it should have. This made the scientists have some disagreements. Some say that creating this machine does not guarantee that everyone on Earth will be healed. Some scientists mentioned that this machine will be able to know if there are humans or humanoids within 100 radii. With this disagreement, the creation of the mach
They were aware that their time was running out. Their resources will run out, and their hope will perish with them. Grace and Sarah had a terrible idea of returning to earth, but the majority of the crew and their ally humanoids don’t want to because of the consequences of stealing the ship and for being a traitor. Sarah is going through the ship's alleyway, pondering their future condition in light of the difficulties they are currently experiencing. Sarah loses hope and faints as her tears fall forth without warning. Grace noticed Sarah on the ground as she walked down the alley. Grace dashes over to Sarah and assists her in relaxing. Grace is told by Sarah that they will not be able to survive in this condition. "Please be strong, Sarah, be strong for your family, be strong for your friends, and be strong for mankind down on Earth," Grace says. And Sarah adds, "How can we be strong if we are running out of our needs huh?" and Grace concerns, "But, but, you’re correct, but Sarah
Everyone is petrified of what humanoids will do next after they found out that one of their spaceships is missing and is used by Sarah's team to travel into the space where the scientists would develop the special serum for everybody. Little did our protagonists know. Extra challenges would come and unexpected cases are worse than ever. Many have died in the fight and are tired of giving humanoids services without due (many are digging up for golds and silver, some create machines, guns, armors, and others for humanoids warfare. They couldn't disagree more or else they will be killed. Many tried to escape because they eat little then work every day but they are being caught again. The virus still spreading over the human race. The scientists never stop figuring out how to develop the best serum for the entire land after many trials. IT'S OVER! —Sarah. Everybody is nervous and their bodies begin to trembles due to the screen video they received from humanoids o
We can prove that the friendship between humans and humanoids defines no boundaries. The tears on the faces of Sarah and Grace ran down their cheeks. A feeling of grief arose from the realization that their companions had sacrificed themselves for them so that they could pursue freedom. Sarah put her right hand on her chest, “Why does it have to be like this?” The memories were fondly recalled. It was such a beautiful scenario. A human and a humanoid living in harmony. Grace's hands clenched as she grabbed hold of Sarah's arms. They're both continually shaking. However, even though their minds had gone blank, their flames were undiminished. Their desire to undo the turmoil and their humanoid pals pushed them to keep their sights focused on the future. When they stared into each other's eyes, their eyes were flooded with sorrow, yet there was also hope behind their gazes. “As losing friends, we’re not allowed to stop.” B
Living is a thing you do now or never. Panting and heavy breathing from their running almost gasp them out of breath. However, they need to ace the humanoids who were running after them. Their legs were like cheetah’s feet. They doubled their pace but still, those two humanoids seem tireless. “Well, if we couldn’t beat them with our strength, let's make them a state of our mind crafts”- Sarah. “All right! So, here’s the plan”- affirmed by Grace. With pure bravery in their heart, they need to face a winning fight for these humanoids. They made an idea of how to trap those two humanoids following them. Just like prey on the jungle. After they have been faced to face on each one of them, both Grace and Sarah blow their specialized weapon. You see, when they were vanished by sacrificing themselves for humans, they emitted gaseous halogens around the surface. This gives an idea for a scie
Out there in space, together with some living scientist on the spacecraft, Sarah and Grace took precious moment seeing the final result of their experiment for the cure. After all they have been, the search for a cure was finally here at last. They cannot even say another word to best describe their outraged feeling. This is the moment they have waited for. Good fate was on their side for mercy. It was the only chance they could get, the option of no other way of choice but to make the things impossible be somehow turn into possible. That is how to make the people left breathing be saved for the next human race. It has been an enormous quest for Sarah and Grace. They are facing the greatest battle of their life, between good and evil. They stood brave against the power of will. They knew that this would never be possible without the sacrifice of the scientists and their humanoid friends who strived so hard for the survival of mankind. It
The earth is created for the reproduction of life. Every living creature makes a unique distinction from any living organisms that evolves naturally with the environment. Man is an exclusive work of art, distinguished by the ability to do his part in the surroundings. Man is characterized by common attributes of being competitive and ambitious, ability to manipulate the world under the existing rules and moral laws. Humanity plays great power in the world between moral foundation and intellectual studies. The world lies under the human nature. No other living matter is higher than man alone. The earth is a never ending place of mystery. It lives even without the human existence. Little did humans know the fact that human intelligence in its prowess is just an inequality to other forms of human like robots called “humanoids.” LOOKING BACK TO WHERE IT ENDS THE FALLEN EARTH &nbs
10 years later. "Claire, hurry up! We need to be there exactly at 8 am." "Mom, I can't find my favorite lip balm. I don't want to go there looking ugly." Claire shouted in her room which is located upstairs. "Claire, don't mess with me right now! You know how important this day is." Her mom said annoyingly. “I’m just kidding Mom.” She answered.Claire hastily go down the stairs, wearing her favorite jeans and loose shirts which complimented her body. Her mom, inspect her clothes slowly and afterward smile. "It's nice to see that you are wearing comfortable clothes this time, unlike last year." Her mom said full of playfulness.Claire suddenly blushed as she realize what her Mom mea
So, it is always you, Dr. Smith. My hunch is never wrong. This time, you need to be silenced for real. After learning that it is Dr. Smith who is hopping from hospital to hospital to stop the epidemic, Jonnas gave a cheeky smirk. Having leaned against his car, he got to his feet and stood up. He opened the door of his red vehicle and gunned the engine just as he turned from the front seat. He gently drove behind Dr. Smith's crew. Jonnas opened the radio and volumed up the song that played. When Jonnas was stopped at a red light, he expressed his displeasure and immediately grabbed his phone. "This is some awesome news, Dr. Din Black." He spoke in hushed tones as he wrote the important news. Jonnas took a glimpse at Dr. Smith's team to not let them out of his sight. At the green light, he sped up to catch up with the team.On his leather couch with a glass of wine in his left hand, Dr. Din Black got the message.
The outside of the laboratory is full of a flock of people, screaming in joy and dancing and jumping happily. Finally, they are cured. After everything that happened, an absolute hero finally appeared to end their suffering. Dr. Smith stared at the crowd, tears starts forming at the side of his eyes. He felt that something heavy has been lifted from his chest. He can't help but smile as he navigates his eyes to the people in front of him. Then a boy, about 4 ft. tall caught his attention.Everybody has the same happy expression painted all over their faces but not this boy. He seems troubled and lost. Dr. Smith took a step forward right into the boy's direction. He wanted to ask him if he need some help. Maybe he got separated from his mom? Or he does not want being surrounded with people. Some of the thoughts that keep running on his mind as he took more steps toward the troubled boy. He reaches out a hand to grab the boy softly on his shoulder. The boy look at
The team of Dr. Smith have done everything they could in pursuit of their advocacy. The hard work, effort, determination united them to make the impossible things turned out possible. The help of the good humanoids had pushed it further in great distance. They worked hand in hand with any possible contributing factor they can extend. Working at the hidden laboratory made some advantage because the humanoids cannot traced them, of course not if somebody would dare be a traitor this time. But hopefully, there is none. All they have in mind is to stop the evil rules on earth.People on earth were hungry for freedom for a long time now, many have died and suffered. Now, it must be stopped. Enough for all of these. “How long are we able to finish this thing”?, said Dr. Smith to the rest of the team. He asked this thing because he was too unsure of the probable date they can accommodate being in the hidden lab. Soon, he knows the villains may be in the mas
Hope will never perish as long as you believe. After his successful encounter with the head of all humanoids, Dr. Smith was given the antidote that would be the cure to save the entire human race. During his stay in the humanoids’ world, his passion for medicine was further ignited because of everything that he experienced. As a result, Dr. Smith recuperated and was able to formulate and strategize an efficient and effective way to reproduce the antidote for the people of Earth. The only remaining thing that he needs to accomplish is to get back home and realize his mission – to save humanity.Dr. Smith’s stay lasted for about a month already and he still needs to go back home. The problem is that the ship is currently under maintenance and it would take another month for it to fully recover and be operational. Their only choice is to use the capsules that were once used by the other good humanoids to travel to ea
In the middle of the night Dr. Smith can’t sleep. Thoughts and memories from the past are hunting him. He is sitting at his desk, staring at every paper that could fix the whole world. The puzzle is still unsolved. He got the antidote, but how can he save the world if the antidote cannot consume by many. Lives are what matter most here. His mind is overflowing with information and memories that he can’t let go. Memories and people that makes him continue to fight, even if he is close to giving up. He is wondering what would be his life if things didn’t go this way. Memory flashes in his mind:“Jude where are you? You know we celebrate holidays together, right? My mother will literally kill me if you won’t come!” he was calling Jude using their own made version of Motorola phone. Since they were best friend for a long time, they did lots of extraordinary experiments together. That was their bond, they always dreamt to be doctor
“Patrick can you pass me the bottle of Hyaluronic Acid and Oat Beta Glucan”, Dr. Smith asked while sitting in the lab desk, testing another vial of trial antidote.“Here you go Doctor, Are you sure about this? ”, Said Dr. Patrick“ Yes Doctor, Back when I was on earth I work mostly on treating diseases with my own expertise. Look carefully, the healing process of the disease is in pace with the healing process on space. Bones, muscles and other tissues gradually breakdown In the start or early level of the disease”, Dr. Smith added.“That should maybe just it, tissue breakdown may cause infection and in a swift it will deteriorate the body function”, Dr. Meridith interrupted.“ Causing hormonal imbalance making the body be confused to the ideal reflex or adaptation on the environment, this is something similar from Abola”,
Another day has passed, Dr. Smith was laying in bed in the room that was provided by the humanoid. Weeks have already passed, and everything felt so fast, from being on Earth and formulating the solution for the cure, to fighting the traitor and evil, being shot and having a near-death experience, and now, being in the humanoid world.Dr. Smith still cannot grasp the idea that he is in the humanoid's world. It felt surreal—It felt unexplainable. He was in deep thoughts, and these past few weeks a lot of things have been going on in his mind. Furthermore, there are still questions that need to be answered, and the only one who can answer them is the humanoid's father.Dr. Smith was deeply nervous. Talking to the leader of the humanoids—whom human considered as their greatest enemy makes him feel astonished. Though he already creates bonds and alliances with the humanoid, but being in a conversion to the higher-ups is a diffe
Dr. Smith and the good humanoids had the chance to meet. This is the birth of a new beginning, a new world will arise. The people have lived their life with the bad humanoids ruling the system. Since then, the earth was never what it was before. Devastation and turmoil overwhelmed every city. People have died out of the disease caused by the humanoids’ greediness to overpower humans. Humanoids made a giant change to life on earth. The people are hungry for heroes that could save them.Dr. Smith, after being captive by the villains, abused and tortured had the chance to escape from them. But his escape was not by his choice, it was the good humanoids that were responsible for his abduction. He was brought to their world. Never did Dr. Smith know about the other side of the good humanoids’ world. It was too far from what he believed from the start, that humanoids are all evil and can be considered as humans’ worst enemies.Th
