The next day, Amy made her way toward me after school. Then, she forcefully rammed into me.

I hadn't even said anything when she shouted arrogantly at me, "Look where you're going, Julia! You bumped into me!"

I frowned a little. Then, I simply stepped aside to avoid her.

"Stop right there! Are you going to just walk away after bumping into someone? I want you to kneel and apologize to me!" Amy shouted as she suddenly pulled me back. Her eyes were filled with malice.

I finally realized what she was trying to do. Bumping into me was just an excuse. Anna and Betsy were right. Amy had put on this show just for me.

I didn't get mad at that thought. Instead, I said in a pitiful and helpless tone, "You want me to kneel in front of the whole class just because I bumped into you? Isn't that a little too much, Amy? I'm even your family! If you have any complaints about me, just tell me. I can change my ways."
