Chapter 19

Olivia’s POV

It was almost 3 pm and everyone was rounding up for the day. I was also trying to deal with a task when I noticed Sarah walked up to my desk and stretched out a file to me. “Alpha Luciano wants this. He wants you to bring it up to his office,” she said and handed the file to me. I took it but also noticed the suspicious look she gave me before walking away.

It had been two days since I last saw Alpha Enzo. For two days now, he hasn’t been in the club and I don’t get to see him in the office because he usually uses his private elevator, which is at the back door.

Swallowing nervously, I stood to my feet and, with the file in my hand, I left my desk and took the elevator. Resting against the wall of the elevator, I began pondering my thoughts. I knew Alpha Enzo was my parents' killer, but I was curious to know why he killed them. What could my father have done that would make him want to wipe out his entire family?

“That doesn’t matter, Olivia. You have to find a way to mak
