Alpha Enzo’s POV

I could see the frightened look on her face the moment I said those words. Actually, I didn’t mean what I said; it was just to tease her, but it seems my words went too far. “You…” She paused and took a deep breath, probably stopping herself from saying what she wanted to say. “Excuse me.” She didn’t wait for me to respond before sprinting away. A frustrated groan left my lips as I watched her leave. I hated the effect she was having on me, the things she was making me do, the words she was making me say. She had totally gotten a hold of me. I have never been this desperate to have someone, as desperate as I am for her.

Inhaling deeply, I composed myself and went back into the club. My eyes fell on her at the bar stand as she served Doms and Subs. I could see how uncomfortable she was and how hard she was trying to keep herself composed. Not able to take my eyes off her, I took a seat on one of the couches and settled in.
