My condolences

/Selene’s POV/

“Beep Beep.” I heard the annoying sound of the heart monitor filtered into my ears making me groan, I tried to turn and cover my ears with the pillow but a tug of my hand made me open my eyes.

“Wait is that a heart monitor sound? Where the fuck I am?” I jolted up and looked around frantically, I saw Eros all sprawled out on the chair, the dark circles under his eyes were obvious as fuck but I decided not to say anything.

I looked around again and noticed soft sunlight filtering through the window, casting a warm glow on the room. The walls are painted a soothing pastel colour, and adorned with cheerful artwork and motivational quotes which made me smile.

In the corner where I was sitting, there was a bedside table with a vase of fresh flowers, adding a splash of vibrant colours and a gentle fragrance. The room is equipped with essential medical equipment, like a heart rate monitor and an IV stand which I was hooked to, I tried racking my brain to remember what happened
