Without hesitation, I just let Wade take me wherever he demanded like I was a lifeless body.

“Are you okay?” Wade started, taking out a handkerchief from his pocket and began to wipe my wet hair with it while I stay still.

We were standing a few meters away from the mini pool by the Packhouse veranda.

“Lily,” he again called with worriedness audible in his baritone voice.

I stared up at him and seeing his concerned expression, I failed to hold back the tears I was holding back since then.

Tears flowed down my cheeks until my vision of his face began to blur with tears filling them.

It’s just too overwhelming for me to see someone cares for me this way. I mean, I was used on having myself and no other else. To have someone who actually cares and would save me from such incident is something that I am not used to.

I heard him tick his tongue before pulling me into his warm chest and embracing me tightly.

The warmth of his embrace just feels like I was brought back home. Unconscious
