"Who is this woman, and why is Liam staring at her like that?" Tressa exclaimed in anger.

"He even invited her to eat with them without hesitation?" Kira added.

Tressa's expression grew darker by the second. She took out her phone and dialed an unregistered number, which was answered within three rings.

Even before the person on the other end could speak, Tressa ordered, "I'm sending you a photo. I need complete information about her by tonight."

"Okay, let me see what I can do," the person replied before the call ended.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine," Kira reassured Tressa.

"Even if something were to develop, Liam's parents wouldn't agree to their union. She's just a normal human. How could she compare to you?"

"And you said it yourself that your mothers were discussing your union. What's there to worry about?" Kira added.

"Hmmm," Tressa hummed, her gaze fixed on the direction the group had gone.

Meanwhile, in the canteen, everyone placed their orders and settled down at a table as Ria introduced them one by one to Lea.

"Lea, this is Vickey, Jude, Lily, Jenny, Alex, my boyfriend Rayan, and the person who accidentally damaged your phone, Liam."

"Hello, Lea," everyone greeted her with smiles as she reciprocated each greeting.

"There's one more person missing today, her name is Sharen, and she hasn't returned from the holidays yet. I'm sure you two will get along well once you meet," Ria added.

As Ria finished her introductions, the food arrived. Everyone began to eat and chat happily until Vickey exclaimed, "Oh, sh*t!" looking at his phone.

"What happened?" Lily asked.

"I forgot to book tickets for the race this weekend, and now it's completely sold out," Vickey lamented.

"What? Are you serious? How many times did I remind you to book those tickets? How can you be so careless?" Alex scolded him.

"Stop yelling at me. I didn't do it on purpose, okay? When you told me to book the tickets the other day, I had some network issues, so I thought I'd do it later, but I forgot," Vickey explained.

"You could have told one of us, we could have helped," Liam said.

After that, the boys got into a heated confrontation.

Lea turned to Ria and asked, "What race are they talking about?"

"Just ignore them. It's just a stupid car race happening this weekend. These guys are crazy about it," Jenny answered before Ria could respond.

"Who are you calling crazy? You know nothing about it. Internationally renowned racers will be participating," Jude retorted.

"And my favorite racer, 'Slayer,' will be in the race this time," Alex said sadly.

"Are you talking about the 'Grand Phoenix' event happening this weekend?" Lea asked.

"Yes, that's the one," Liam confirmed.

"Well, I can help you get entry to that event," Lea said casually, but everyone reacted with excitement, exclaiming, "What?"

Lea felt a bit embarrassed as she explained, "Actually, the event is organized by my brother's company. The organizers have a designated private space to watch the race comfortably, but since my brother has some work out of town during that time, he gave me the access pass this morning, telling me I could invite friends if I'm bored."

"Since it's a private room, I can invite friends without needing separate tickets," Lea added.

"You're an angel,"

"We're in,"

"Thank you so much,"

"I'm your slave from today"

The group responded with various exclamations, their excitement evident.

"Okay, then it's settled," Lea said, laughing lightly.

Her safe place in a world that often felt too heavy for someone so young. She cared for him, deeply. Worried. But not angry” He hesitated, then added, “I don’t need to know everything right away, Elena. I just need to know you. And I do.”His words struck something deep inside her, a place that had always braced for rejection, for suspicion, for betrayal—never for acceptance. Never for this.Elena closed her eyes for a moment, breathing him in—the steadiness of him, the strength he gave her without asking anything in return. When she opened them again, her voice was steadier “I don’t deserve this,” she said quietly.Liam frowned, not harshly, but like he hated hearing her say it “Don’t do that,” he

Please... stay.”Liam froze, feeling the raw desperation in her voice, in the way she clung to him like he was the only solid thing left in a crumbling world. His heart twisted painfully at the thought of leaving her, even for a second. He let out a quiet, resigned
