On the Other Side...

As Liam took his seat in class, Rayan leaned over and asked, "She still hasn't stopped bothering you?"

"No, man, it's such a pain in the ass. I can't even do anything about it without hurting Aunt Elizabeth. I've lost count of the number of times I've rejected her advances. I can't even have a few peaceful days at home," Liam said, massaging his forehead to relieve the tension.

Rayan patted his friend's shoulder, trying to ease his irritation.

Their conversation was cut short as the professor entered the classroom.

Meanwhile, outside, a Lamborghini Veneno sped through the university gates at lightning speed, captivating everyone with the driver's skillful handling. When the car came to a stop in the parking lot, a stunning girl with deep blue eyes and straight chocolate brown hair emerged.

She stood at 5'8" and wore a white knee-length one-piece dress paired with simple stilettos and a brown leather bag from Guess. Her outfit perfectly complemented her fair skin, enhancing her beauty even more. She looked like a goddess descended to earth, leaving everyone, both girls and boys, mesmerized by her presence.

She glanced around for a few seconds before walking towards the admin block.

----

Finally, the first day of college ended, and students poured into the corridors, heading to their various destinations.

"It's just the first day, and they already started with the lessons," Vickey complained as the group made their way towards the parking lot.

"As if it makes any difference to you. It's not like you were listening to a single word the professor said," Jude retorted.

"You..." Vickey pointed his index finger at Jude, trying to come up with a retort, but no words came out. He huffed and walked towards his vehicle angrily.

"These guys—when are they going to grow up?" Jenny commented, shaking her head at the two idiots walking ahead.

Once they reached the parking lot, Alex called out, "Guys, I just got a few passes for the 'Neon Lights' event tonight. Shall we go?"

"We don't have any other plans for today. Let's go," Ria said.

"I never say no to good music and booze," Jude added.

"Okay then, let's go," Alex said.

Neon Lights was held at the beach, vibrantly decorated with LED lights. Food trucks offered a wide variety of options, while DJs and live bands performed on stage, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

Liam and his group danced, drank, and ate until they were too drained to stand. They collapsed into an open tent near the seawater, chatting nonsensically.

Suddenly, a cool wind blew some sand particles into Lily's eyes. She tried to rub them out, but it only made things worse, causing her eyes to water from the discomfort. The others tried to help by blowing on her eyes, but it didn't work. They thought of using water to wash the sand out, but there was none in the tent. Liam grabbed an empty bottle and hurried to the water dispenser nearby.

He filled the bottle quickly and rushed back to the tent. In his haste, he didn't notice someone walking in front of him and bumped into them, causing his water bottle and the other person's phone to fall. Since the cap of the bottle wasn't screwed on properly, water spilled all over the phone.

"NO!" "FU*K!" they exclaimed simultaneously, glaring at each other in frustration.

We're all in the same position," Jude said, resting his head on the desk."We shouldn't have drunk so much," Ria said, massaging her forehead. As everyone kept complaining about their hangovers, the professor walked in and started taking attendance.Just as the professor finished and was about to start the lecture, there was a knock on the door."You're late," the professor said."Sorry, sir, I just joined and lost my way trying to find the class," a melodious voice reached everyone's ears as a girl apologized."A new joiner in the final term? Come in. What's your name?" the professor asked, taking the admission slip from her to confirm her claim."It's Leona Andreese, sir," she said. "We just moved back to the country due to my brother's work, hence the change in university.""Okay, take a seat next to Rhianna there," the professor

"Who is this woman, and why is Liam staring at her like that?" Tressa exclaimed in anger."He even invited her to eat with them without hesitation?" Kira added.Tressa's expression grew darker by the second. She took out her phone and dialed an unregistered number, which was answered within three rings.Even before the person on the other end could speak, Tressa ordered, "I'm sending you a photo. I need complete information about her by tonight.""Okay, let me see what I can do," the person replied before the call ended."Don't worry, everything will be fine," Kira reassured Tressa."Even if something were to develop, Liam's parents wouldn't agree to their union. She's just a normal human. How could she compare to you?""And you said it yourself that your mothers were discussing your union. What's there to worry about?" "Good morning, my dear queen," Allen greeted as he stepped into the office, closing the doors behind him."Speak," she said, lifting her head to address Allen."Queen Mother's assistant called this morning to inform us that the queen mother has appointed the great sword master, Tang, as a personal trainer for Princess Alina, as she has shown a keen interest in sword fighting," Allen reported.Queen Elizabeth responded with a smile. "Mother dotes on her far too much. It's good to hear that she's taking an interest in something useful."Allen smiled, thinking of the spirited princess.“Continue,” the queen said after that.Taking a deep breath, Allen continued in a serious tone, "The expert we invited to treat King Edward has says that there is nothing more he can do. We can only pray to the gods for his recovery."Elizabeth let out a sigh, rising from her seat and approaching the window for some fresh air. "This is the third person this year stating the same words," she noted wearily.A

For the past some time when we were standing near the admin block all the girls around have been throwing daggers at me. It's like they want to strangle me to death given the chance," Lea said with a small smile on her face. Hearing her words Liam just started laughing as they walked toward the class. The corridor was empty as it was near the library and it was almost time for class. "Hearing him laugh Lea stopped walking and said, what are you laughing at ha? I am just stating the truth here. "Yeah," Liam chuckled. "I know it sounds silly. I was five years old, when I came here for the first time with my father and uncle. I was so fascinated by the cars that I wanted to drive like the others on the track. When I asked my father if I could, he obviously said no...""I started throwing a tantrum, and despite my uncle and father tried to consoling me but after some time my father got irritated and scolded me. It was the first time he'd ever scolded me, and I was overwhelmed with sadness and anger, so I just dashed into the woods.""I don't know for how long I was in there, I just ran and ran, and then when I finally got tired, I stopped and sat on a rock. Worried. But not angry” He hesitated, then added, “I don’t need to know everything right away, Elena. I just need to know you. And I do.”His words struck something deep inside her, a place that had always braced for rejection, for suspicion, for betrayal—never for acceptance. Never for this.Elena closed her eyes for a moment, breathing him in—the steadiness of him, the strength he gave her without asking anything in return. When she opened them again, her voice was steadier “I don’t deserve this,” she said quietly.Liam frowned, not harshly, but like he hated hearing her say it “Don’t do that,” he

Elena breathed, each shaky inhale slowly growing steadier as Liam held her. His hand moved gently up and down her back, slow and grounding, letting her feel the rhythm of life—the simple, steady beat of being here, being safe. When the worst of the tremors passed, Liam shifted slightly, glancing down at her “You should rest a little more," he said softly, brushing a few strands of hair from her damp forehead "I’ll call Master Kai Von, just to make sure you’re okay as you have been unconscious for three days now."But the moment he started to move, Elena's arms tightened around him in a panic, her fingers curling into the fabric of his shirt like a lifeline “No,” she whispered sharply, her voice trembling but sure “Don’t go. Please... stay.”Liam froze, feeling the raw desperation in her voice, in the way she clung to him like he was the only solid thing left in a crumbling world. His heart twisted painfully at the thought of leaving her, even for a second. He let out a quiet, resigned

She wasn’t sure where she was—but everything around her felt too vivid, too alive to be anything but real. She stood at the edge of an enchanted forest, where the trees rose high into the sky, their branches weaved with sparkling silver vines and glowing flowers that pulsed gently like stars. The air shimmered with magic, and the ground beneath her bare feet was soft, like moss spun from dreams.Laughter echoed through the woods—bright, musical, carefree.Ahead, a girl darted between the trees, her hair cascading down her back like a waterfall of dark silk.
