In the heart of the courtyard adorned with varieties of flowers, I led Elodie to the dinner table, my hands over her eyes while she chuckled. “I am curious about what you made for you to be this secretive about it”

I grinned. “I know. Don’t worry, you will soon find that out”

Slowly my hands left her eyes and in a matter of seconds, her lips parted in shock as her hands flew over her mouth. She turned to look at me with those eyes that gleamed ethereally like all the stars gathered inside.

I was dazed. How come I had never noticed the beauty that her siren eyes held?

“You didn’t have to” She pouted slightly.

“I have to” I responded while she sighed before she darted her eyes back to the dinner buffet. She turned to look at me swiftly, giggling while clapping both hands excitedly. “How did you know that I loved seafood? I barely had any in France and you didn’t have any hard time making any of these?”
