"Mother!" I called, Immediately I stepped into the room the next morning, I was filled with a sudden sense of gladness which replaced the anxiety that I had been plagued with,

My smile broadened, energized by the fact that my mother was getting better, I walked up to her and sat beside her, sharing in the obvious happiness she was feeling,

"Have you been well my child?" She questioned warmly, her face a mask of contentment as she spoke, and as I stared at her, I needed no one to tell me that she was back to her usual self,

"Yes mother," I replied, even though I wanted to talk to her about what had become my fate, I didn't want to ruin the genuine happiness and peace that emanated from my mother,
