17. A Jealous Alpha

Dorian's POV

“And where do you think you two are going?"

I glared at the both of them in disgust, but April remained silent.

“Answer me, April. Who is this? Is this who you were with the other day? Is this who you were talking to on the phone?"

Suddenly, she snapped back at me rudely.

“I have no idea what you are talking about, and last I checked Dorian, that information was none of your business."

I was stunned and growled angrily at her. That little brat was overstepping her boundaries, and I was going to put her back in her place.

I glared at her furiously, and she began to spill.

“Jacob is from the carpentry store, and he is here to fix the door of my room if you must know."

I suddenly stared at Jacob, and he stared back at me with calmness and gentleness in his eyes. He was tall and muscular, and his physique stood out as he stood perfectly still with the large wooden board balanced on his shoulder.

“Carpentry shop? Really? Then why haven't I seen him before?"
