11. Strip.

DORIAN’S POV

I watched her walk away, disappointed, as she stormed down the hallway. Despite my silence, my mind buzzed with frustration as I headed to my office. She seemed pointless to me. I hated her, and being her mate only meant I could inflict more pain on her. I couldn’t let Stacie down.

Upon reaching my office and closing the door, Khal began to speak, ‘That was foolish, Dorian. Why would you do that to her? She is our mate. You cannot keep hurting her.’

‘She is not my mate and never will be. I can’t be mated to someone as despicable and cruel as her.’

‘Dorian, you can’t keep this up forever…’

‘I will not mate her, Khal!’ I retorted. ‘I am the Alpha of this pack. I will not be mated to a wolfless wolf. She has not gotten her wolf yet. And I would never even be caught dead with her. Not after what she did.’

I prowled around the room in anger, huffing and puffing. The mere thought of her made my skin crawl with irritation.
