I lost Red and then that crap showed up. Great.

I looked around once again and the number of soldiers Mayavi had brought clearly showed Derek had overestimated me. Or maybe he didn’t want to take chances.

“Return my sword, you lowborn thieves,” I said, standing calmly as they slowly came closer to me.

“Someone has learnt how to speak. You won’t tremble and call for your Amor to save you?” Mayavi said in a mocking tone. “Oh! Oh! He threw you out of his pack,” she chuckled.

“You are not only less informed but delusional too,” I said. “Anyway, give back my sword to me. I have to return it to Hikari. If you want alms, beg and I might throw some snacks before you.” I mocked her.

Mayavi scowled at me.

“That pretty mouth of yours will soon beg me for mercy,” Mayavi said obnoxiously.

“Delusional,” I shrugged.

“Quietly come with us and I promise the only thing you will lose will be your magic,” Mayavi said.
