I took my phone out of my pocket and looked at the screen.

When I received the call from Dana's doctor, my heart raced. I feared that something bad had happened to her. I feared that she had escaped from the hospital.

Rachel was by my side. I think she thought the same as I did. But Dana called to ask if I would let her see Jeremy. I said no.

And Dana messed up.

"I don't care if you don't believe me, Demian. But I told you I haven't been kidnapped. I'm going to see Jeremy whether you like it or not. You say you want to do everything to make me feel good, but you won't let me see my boyfriend. I'm suffering because of Jeremy, did you know that? You want to take me to your house.
