ANNA WAS NEVER like that, Mitch muttered to himself. She was never angry at another person's happiness, especially when she knew how relevant the mate bond was.

"Maybe that is why she is not in support of it," his beast growled. Maybe she needed to see Rick and Reine together and see how perfect they were for each other.

As he walked to his suite, he felt a pair of eyes burning into his back. He turned sharply, but didn't see anybody or anything in the darkness. He continued his walk, but he knew there was someone out there watching him. His instinct told him so, and he always believed his instinct, no matter what; it had saved his life many times.

He could not sniff the person nor hear anything except the sound of the night insects, but he could still feel the gaze of someone on him.

He chuffed and entered his suite, closing the door behind him gently.

He shrugged off his shirt and reached for his phone, dialing the kingdom line. It was answered on the second ring.
