David stormed all the way back to the palace. The news he had just heard was just too much for him. He couldn’t believe that the one who he thought he could trust had actually stabbed him in the back.
“David! Wait up!” King Richard gasped as he ran after David.
Taking deep breaths, David tried to calm himself down. He had to keep himself under control. He couldn’t lose it just because he found out the truth which was hidden from him the whole time. He turned around slowly and faced the mighty king.
“Your beta?” he asked.
“Yes. Your highness. My best friend’s father was my beta the whole time until Cade turned eighteen. He was my father’s beta too. I thought he was true and loyal to the pack the entire time. I had trusted
Narrator Women and children started to run around, in fear. The elders and the warriors were quick to gather in front of the pack house. Cade was already barking away orders. Hailey too was trying her best to calm the elders and children down and lead them towards the basement of the pack house, where they would be the safest. Elder Barron too had to join the rest of the elders. Gerald also decided to help them. He now could use his powers to defend his pack. The opal will have to wait. Soon, the huge army of vampires invaded the pack, slashing their claws and crushing the bones of whoever attacked them. The whole place was soon a blood bath and the warriors who attacked them were easily defeated. It was clear that the vampires were stronger than the werewolves, even in their wolf form.

Soon, the huge army of vampires invaded the pack, slashing their claws and crushing the bones of whoever attacked them. The strength of vampires were certainly not a match for the werewolves. David pov “David!” I heard a voice that I thought I would never hear again. My gaze rested on Carol, my mate. The one who carried my mark. A small smile curved my lips as I gazed deep into her green orbs. My heart palpitated as our gazes met. Yes. This girl means the whole world to me now. She was the one who healed my broken heart. She was The one who showed me that I too was worthy of love. I smiled at her. However, her eyebrows were knitted in a deep frown. I knew she was looking at Hailey. “Who is that?” she questioned. I sighed and turned around. Hailey was staring at me with sad eyes. Before I could say anything, she ran up to me and halted right in front of me.
Narrator David walked in slowly, looking around the place he one lived in. The place that he grew up in. The place was still the same. The pack house was a huge place, consisting of a grand room and several rooms on each floor of the house. The kitchen and the living room would be on the ground floor. While the first floor consisted of the beta’s quarters, one part of it was used by the elders. The second floor had the high elder’s room and the top floor was specially for the alpha and Luna. A feeling of nostalgia washed over David as he ascended the grand staircase which was covered in red carpet. This was the same set of stairs he used to run up and down during his childhood. He used to play in the hallway with Cade, who used to be his best friend then. A sad smile curved his lips when remembered those days. When he reac
Narrator By the time everything had settled and the civilians retreated back to their homes, it was almost sunrise, so they decided to stay in the pack house for the day. Nolan continued to think about Kat. Today was her birthday. And it was when she was supposed to find her beloved. However, that will have to wait. He couldn’t wait to touch her so that she would finally realise that he was the one she had been waiting for. He just couldn’t wait to go back. A group of wolves came to meet David, asking him to be their alpha. But David denied. He no longer had the desire to be their alpha. He wanted to be with Carol. The king cleared his throat, gaining their attention. “Actually you and Carol will be crowned king and queen of th
King Richard pov. “Attention everyone! Princess Carol and Prince David!” The announcer announced into the microphone. Making all the guests turn towards the stage where I was waiting for them to come and sit on the throne. I smiled when I saw my little girl walk towards the stage, hand in hand with her beloved. Both of them, held their heads up high, their faces void of any emotions, though I knew that in their hearts, their feelings would be going haywire. After all, they were going to become the next power couple of the millennium. It meant that they would be the most powerful with the opal at their service, however, it also meant their lives would be filled with trials and hardships. Perhaps, lots and lots of wars and enemies too. But I knew they would make it t
Narrator. King Richard found himself on a strange land. There was greenery everywhere. However, he was certain that this wasn’t the forest that he grew up in. Definitely not the place where his clan was located. He started to look around for anything interesting. “Richard!” That voice shocked him beyond words. His heart skipped a beat as his breathing hitched. Can it be? Gasping, he turned in the direction of the voice, searching desperately for the owner of the voice. “Maria?” He called out hopefully. Is it possible that she was back? “Hey.” The voice called out once again. And this time, Richard found himself frozen on his spot. Slowly, a smile spread on his face. There,
Marsha found herself on a barren land. It seems as if there had been little to no life in that place for some time. The air was hot and dry and there were ugly cracks on the ground. The scorching sun burnt the whole place, including her delicate skin. Marsha tried her best to shield her eyes from the glaring sun. But then a kick in her abdomen made her realise that she was not alone. Placing one hand on her swollen tummy, she looked around for a shelter. But this place was empty, not even a single tree. “What is this place?” she murmured to herself. “Hello? Anyone there?” she shouted. But her voice only got lost in the thin air. No one was in the ear shot. Or so she thought. “Don’t panic. Don’t panic.” She told herself, trying her best not to freak out.
