Chapter sixty one

Alpha Leonardo’s POV...

As I stood there in the garden, walking around with hopes that she would return, my wolf kicked against me even more, and at that point, I didn’t know what to do anymore.

I was just frustrated. I had tried everything I could to get my mind off her since I didn’t want to have anything else to do with her, but it didn’t matter how hard I tried because in the end, not only my wolf got affected, but my heart also did, and I didn’t understand why.

I sighed. What had I not tried so I could get some rest? This was odd, and really strange, because I had never felt this way for anyone before.

I had tried to drink myself into a stupor so that I would fall asleep, but when I eventually fell asleep, the pain in my wolf didn’t let me sleep well.

"Where are you, Cora? Just give me a sign, and I promise I’ll come to save you." I muttered to myself as I stared at the gates, hoping that soon she would make her way through them and come to me.
