Chapter sixty nine

CORA’s POV….

Disgusted, I placed my hands over my eyes immediately as fear started to surge through me.

"What’s going on? You were asked to bring me food, weren’t you?" He asked me, and I swallowed as I nodded.

"Yes, sir. I was, and I’ve brought the food to you." I told him, my hands still over my face, and because I didn’t see him and he wasn’t putting on a footwear, I wasn’t able to hear him when he started to move closer to me, and before I knew it, he placed his hand on mine as he took my hand off my eyes, and I swallowed as I stared at him, closing my eyes immediately again.

"Like what you see?" He asked me, and at that moment, I felt like throwing up. It had to be the most disgusting feeling I had ever experienced in my whole life, and the fact that he was so close to me made me feel even more irritated.

"No, I don’t. I’ve brought you the food already; please excuse me." I told him and was about to leave when he pulled me back by the arm, and I stared at his face, scared.

He had
